Very awesome pic and statue! Arm up is definitely the way to go on this.

so far the in-hand photos are amazing. Mine gets here tomorrow, hoping for no broken pieces. He looks to be one of the best so far.
 
The strap should have been sculpted shorter and/or closer to the body, or the forearm should have been a separate piece so that only that one section would need a replacement.

My waitlist converted!
However, now, reading about the breakage, I'm thinking if I should cancel it. Have till the 14th to decide...

tomandshell, I called this when you first posted the problems many pages back. SS seems to have two classes of damage, real breaks and issues they attribute to an ever demanding fan base which they deem minor damage. This stinks all around. BUT I suspect this is a response to them getting complaints about minor issues like paint blotches or something and people wanting a whole new statue. As people got more particular profits were eaten and here we are. Still its staggering that they would recommend you glue something like this. Damaged collectibles, oxymoron, value is affected when disclosed to a perspective new buyer down the road. An unreal joke.

To the wraith PF buyers, good luck. That's a flip piece because the long term viability of the back legs and tail is about that of the Balrog's flame whip.

Odd. Take a look at your Fedex Receipt. In the bottom section what does it say for the Description and the Classification Number? On the statue's that I received that did not have duties on it, the receipts had COLLECTIONS3 or COLLECTION for the description but both classification numbers were 9703.00.00.00. However on my T1 PF that I got charged $26 in duties, the description was COLLECTIONM and classification number 9825.20.00.00. Must be something with how SS is declaring the items.

looking over the last few pages i see a few people have been getting Boromir minus the sword that points down :( or with broken arm straps :( i'm going to go through with my order because i regretted cancelling my first waitlist and now i have a 2nd chance. i just hope he comes with both swords and in one piece. sorry to other flamers who have recieved a damaged Boromir :( i'm in Australia so there is no way i will be sending mine back.

BTW: Same damage as everyone else here. Cracked but not falling off + a chiped off part on the base.
Fixed the strap with some glue and paint but the base is not that easy.​
