I feel the main cast have absolutely no chemistry with each other. Only time will tell If they ever will.

To add to that, I also find them extremely boring and uninteresting. The only 2 characters I've even remotely cared about so far is Coulson and to a lesser extent, May, but we don't really know anything about her yet. The rest of the cast seems to be composed of CW rejects who couldn't make it on their vampire shows. I really hope they bring in some more interesting characters. I like the premise, and the plots for the first 2 episodes were fine, I just don't care for the characters at all.

worst show ever! boring as hell, I mean at least throw someone in there with some powers or hook the viewer in buy throwing in a superhero. 2/10 rating and I'm being nice.

Please get rid of Skye, or however you spell her name. Her being a double agent for something sinister is going to play out predictably. They need to bring in some real marvel characters. GET RID OF SKYE, and use Fitz and Simmons as consultants only. the other two are ok. And please bring in A.I.M. or Hydra.

I think this would be a huge leap in the right direction for this show. Org on org violence is needed, plus since both of these have already been introduced in the movies, it just makes the series seem more in tune with the movie-verse.

In a way both have already had their intros in the show. I think it's just a matter of time before they get the full monty.

There have been a few shows that I was kinda dry on at first but have grown to really like them so I'll watch this for awhile and see where it heads. It's the only thing I watch on Tuesday nights so....

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Ratings Down In Second Week

After the blockbuster success last week of the premiere of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., it surprised no one that the ratings would dip somewhat with its sophomore episode – but what was surprising was how much. According to Deadline, the second episode only garnered 8.4 million live viewers – a drop of 34% from last week’s debut high. The surprise cameo of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury couldn’t do anything to bolster those number given the surprise nature of it, but Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. did face some stiff competition as it was going head-to-head with a new episode of CBS’s NCIS, which was the exit of long-time cast member Cote de Pablo, which garnered 19.2 million viewers, twice what Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.received.

Yeah, I watched NCIS first. I love that show and then watched the DVR of Shield. They need to factor in that into the rating because I guarantee I wasn't the only one that did that.

I sat through the first episode only because I wanted to give it a chance. I found nothing really engaging about it. I completely forgot about it and realized it was on half way through the second episode. I came in when the stupid hacker chick was talking to the "leading man" guy. What a waste of dialogue.

What is it Season 17 of NCIS at this point?

They just started 11. My mother's favorite show.

None of this surprised me. I was actually more surprised that SHIELD's ratings were so high for the pilot.

I'm actually amazed at how long most of that shows original cast is still there. Normally by a season 11..well most shows don't last that long but if they do all the originals are usually gone.

Just the main girl has changed twice and the director has changed 3 or 4 times, but that's not part of the team.

This show will die when Mark Harmon decides to quit.

Its also my mother's favorite show. She's always liked Mark Harmon. He's about her age actually.
