It was more the angle I was using at first. It was a matter or making sure the piece was standing properly. But not a major problem.

Same here.

I just had to make sure the peg and the base hole were lined up right.

I finally received Cap today (because of the split shipment) and I'm really sad, because the body is broken.. and the shield and the head have some paint issues

i had to ask for two replacements before having a decent Cap and there's still a little issue as there is a paint chip on the base but it's just under Cap's foot so it doesn't bother me right now but i'm certainly gonna let it fix one day , i'm glad sideshow gave me a discount on one of my preorders as a compensation but i hate the hassle of going through the replacement process , the statue should be perfect the first time i receive it ...

I received my shipment notice as well....Tuesday can't come quick enough!!!
Has anyone taken a pic of this along with the original just to see what they look like together? I know the original will forever be THE BEST, but from what I hear this one is also very easy on the eyes as well.

I still haven't opened my Cap EX yet, I'll have to check it out and make sure there aren't any breaks.

I need to find a spot to put the statue since shelf space is at a premium. I think Rogue PF is going back into the box. Captain America can hang out next to Lara Croft instead.

Really wanted the EX, but I got the regular at the Resintopia show in NJ for $250.00. Couldn't pass up that deal, especially since everything was perfect on the figure and base.
