Finally succumbed and PO'd Takara Megatron when the next batch comes around later this year. That'll complete my little Cons display of Soundwave, Shockwave and Starscream :)

Ya know what? The more i'm seeing pics, the more I'm sitting here envious of you guys who bought it. It is growing on me a lot... Toy Alliance Prime is awesome in hand. A real centrepiece. My daughter likes it too!

No meant Soundwave; i think its the more detailed and metalic look that doesn't match this cartoony look theyre now going for. I see what you mean about Shockwave though, he does look short but not bad to ruin the figure imo. Its that cheap look of megs and Shockwave that offends me!

No denying that for the rabid G1 cartoon lovers/Takara Tomy fanboys (all two of you), these three look outstanding as a set and will have some real presence on the shelf but does Soundwave looks the odd man out there? I suppose it does match the ropey inconsistent animation to a tee though 😂

Positives - Accessories, cartoon accuracy Negatives- the plastic looks cheap nasty, cartoon accuracy p I can't see past the cheap plasticy look sadly and whilst the cartoon aesthetic will appeal to a percentage and I see the nostalgic appeal, this isn't what I signed up for when the MP line...

Re: All things transformers!!!! Have you got the chrome one dude? Would love to see pics to compare it. My Dino display us a bit of a mismash of manufacturers but they all have the silver finiah. Nees to see which one will suit my display best

So my Convoy of Primes has reached the end with the arrival of Striker Manus. Dont think theres many G1 styled Primes left i care to own
