The hat experiment worked ... glued the two pieces together and it held (keep in mind, one is polystone and one is plastic).

The first pic shows a broken piece off of the Sideshow KOTCS hat, they are actually a perfect match:

Finished (but in need of a re-paint):

Costume Test. Got the revised shirt back from Miss Lee, this with Mike Fishers' Gunbelt, Whip Keeper and Holster set and Shawn's Raiders Jacket works well together:

The expanded body makes a huge difference, notice the shoulders (before on the left, after on the right):

:clap:clap Brilliant work. The transformation is very remarkable. Now the hat has the perfect height.

I don´t know how you have the courage to destroy a statue of almost 300 dollars :D

But now, this figure has a great value ;)

It's really looking GREAT Robert! Nice to see my busted KOTCS pieces really turning into something so AMAZING! :rock

P.S., if you don't want it when you're done, you could always send it to me! :lol

What happened with your Kotcs Indy Indiana fett?

It was delivered with some QC issues (really poor paint apps and some scuffs to the hat that were touched up). I wasn't happy about it so I sent SS some photos and they asked me to destroy it in order to receive a replacement (which is TONS better!). Robert was interested in my 'destroyed' pieces for his custom, so it was win-win!

:gun

But you told me that your wife threw the KOTCS Indy PF at you when she saw how much money you have been spending on these collectables ...

here are a few pics of the PF figure i took today. it really does look nice in person. the eyes have a bit of the yellow tint to them, but not too bad - i chalk it up to drinking and staying out too late treasure hunting.

FINALLY cracked on this.

The TOD premium format is too nice to skip. And if I have ROTLA and TOD, I'd need all four.

Luckily BBTS still had it in stock for $259.

You guys still happy with yours?

You know, people say how bad the movie was and that's the main reason why they don't get this sculpture, but regardless of the movie, it is the best likeness so far for Indy, in my opinion.

Yeah, the movie sucked, but the PF compensated for it. I love it and I will get another one, cause I had to sell my one a while ago. I like TOD too, but I think the base is a bit too much and the the fact he is not holding the whip bothers me. Still a great piece but not a WOW! piece. I reserve full judgment after I see it at Comic Con.

So, to make it short, I think KOTCS PF rocks......great pose, amazing likeness and a simple but well done base....

Agreed. It really is a GREAT PF! Pardon my grainy photos from my crap camera, but here is my KOTCS PF with custom MFisher belt, holster and whip keeper and custom sidebag - strap and buckle by MFisher, bag with help from FSOHK. Enjoy!
