Yeah, it's my first PF and I'm pretty happpy with it! I'm sure Sideshow sent it to me so that I would be sucked into buying more...

HAHA! That's usually how it works! :D

This really is a GREAT PF. When I look at my display, I currently dig it a bit more than the ROTLA one, if you can believe it. :gun

WOW...I have the ROTLA PF and never thought I would be interested in this one but it looks amazing!

after being on the wait list for a LONG time, my KOTCS Indy SS exclusive version actually converted. it is arriving on Tuesday. at only 300 units, i guess it surprised me a bit that there were still some unsold. i know i am paying a bit more, but i like the mask exclusive.

If you have the crystal skull that came with the blu-ray/DVD release of KOTCS, then you'll like the mask even more. Their bases are pretty much identical, so they really add to the overall look of the PF.

Ordered mine ... finally (been very busy on my 1/6th Indy's), when he arrives, this is waiting for him:

Mike Fisher: Holster, gun belt & whip holder

custom sidebag by Mike Fisher & Miss Lee

Joe Strain 1/4 scale KOTCS Whip

Miss Lee: Jacket, shirt & pants

I am seriously considering mounting the head (and neck) on this body. Finally saw one up close, I believe that the face does not require a re-paint, excellent job by Sideshow!

Just in case anyone is interested, I going to post some pics of the progress as Sean Ho and I migrate the excellent Trevor head and hat from the KOTCS PF over to the Diamond Select body. I realize that this going to be a long process, and will most likely involve additional lengthening of the Diamond Select body and possibly a new set of clothes, but I have to try:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-6-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-6-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

This is on the way to convert in the best 1/4th articulated Kotcs Indy. :whip

Good job fast, I'll wait for the final pics

OK, this is not going to be easy. The KOTCS PF is not exact scale to the ROTLA PF. When I put my Raiders Indy PF's clothes on my custom version, well, see for yourself:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-7-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-7-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Bobble Head ...

I guess that means a long process whereas I have to add to every area of the body. I'll start with the shoulders and trunk and scale down from there, using the head and neck as my scale reference:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-8-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-8-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

But I have to say, I just love the Trevor sculpt, that is why I have to add something special around it (though the original looks pretty cool already). But that is what I did for the 1/6th KOTCS Indy ...

Before:

After:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-10.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-10.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-9-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-9-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

AWESOME to see what you're doing with my busted up KOTCS Indy PF Robert. Really, really great work. Can't wait to see how this shapes up! :rock :rock :rock

Never noticed how big the KOTCS 1/4 head was in comparison, but I guess Ford got a bit 'big-headed' over the years! :lol

Love the backpack you're using for the 1/6 KOTCS Indy. Would love to do the same...just wondering which one you're using (or is is a custom?) Also, are you planning on getting a backpack done up for the 1/4 Indy?

Somebody's got money to burn. :)

Some people get drunk and drive their cars into trees, others do drugs, some invest in the stock market and lose everything. I like Indy collectables ... when I die someone is going to have one hell of an ebay auction.

Interesting work mon ami.

Thanks : )

This is what I used for the pack:

The rest is by hand ...

Moron, 仆街, they both apply to me here, as I somehow managed to screw up KOTCS Indy on the way back from Sean's workshop:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-11-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-11-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Or is this a blessing in disguise, as I wanted to lower the hat anyways but have doubts about my abilities to execute such a job ... oh well, no choice now:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-12.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-12.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I had to saw the forehead a bit then puddy up the back and do my best to expand the hair pattern:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-13.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-13.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

The hat brim is actually off of the Diamond Select and it is pretty much exactly the same size as the Sideshow brim, imagine if this actually works and you could have a poseable brim?

This could still not work out, more pics after Tuesday ...

Thanks Flosi.

And so much for Tuesday, I made some progress in the last few hours ... I think that this might work out after all:

<a href="https://s663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/?action=view&current=-16.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i663.photobucket.com/albums/uu359/sparksr_2009/-16.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Robert, it is AWESOME to see what you're doing with my busted KOTCS parts...It's coming together really well. I just know this is going to be INSANELY cool when it's done! Keep at it bro! :rock

Now I know this thread is for KOTCS and not ROTLA, but I wasn't sure if you've noticed in some of the other threads that I've posted some images of my newly upgraded ROTLA Indy PF. Just got my repainted hatted head in from Les Walker and it is INCREDIBLE. Gave me a chance to snap a new pic of the figure and perhaps you recognize a certain sidebag and strap! :D

Just need that Sovereign Studios 1/4 jacket like yours and this guy will be COMPLETE!
