1/6 Hot Toys MMS 261-Star Wars: Episode IV-Han Solo 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

That neck piece seems to be a part of the body costume ? Otherwise the warning wouldn't warn against pulling it off. Right?

Just saw this on Facebook. What is this wizardry?

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 283 - Star Wars Episode IV: 1/6th scale Obi-Wan Kenobi

Doesn't seem to be the case since in one of the pictures has the lightsaber lighting up on its own. Or the picture could just be a marketing ploy and the iron man gimmick does seem to be the most plausible possibility I've heard so far... Thanks!

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS 283 - Star Wars Episode IV: 1/6th scale Obi-Wan Kenobi

Has anyone figured out how they managed to get the lightsaber light up without cables running out of the end of the hilt onto a battery pack? I have never seen any button battery small enough to fit into the hilt....

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 -John Blake/ Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Judging from that photo, I think the batsignal in the movie is raised on some sort of pedestal or concrete platform or summat since the bottom bit of the light housing is about waist high in that photo. I think the size is pretty spot on.

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 -John Blake/ Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Thanks for posting that vid. The set looks decent though not worth $400 for sure. Again, the pants make them both look doll-ish because of the way they are tailored, the underlying joints get very very pronounced to the point where you see a huge gap between the femurs thus making them look...

1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 -John Blake/ Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set Anyone notice that lately HT's getting their 1/6 costumes done rather hastily? I mean look at Blake, his costume makes him look like something out of Robot Chicken or something. Especially around the crotch...

1/6 Hot Toys MMS 261-Star Wars: Episode IV-Han Solo 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

Well, to be fair, the reason why the line put me off from buying any of them is the fact that in most iterations you can see that a person can't possibly fit inside the suit if they were blown to 1/1 scale. So, they gave all out as long as their time is concerned, yes, but definitely no effort...

1/6 Hot Toys MMS 261-Star Wars: Episode IV-Han Solo 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

Pretty sure the artist who developed the headsculpt for Han has other things on his/her plate and also deadline to meet. If positive thinking is our aim here then give 'em time.

1/6 Hot Toys MMS 261-Star Wars: Episode IV-Han Solo 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

I had the exact same experience! Though I began by collecting McFarlane figures. And inch my way up after I got myself a job. 1/6 is where I draw the line though. Apart from the basement thing, I believe that is the life most people who were born in the eighties are living right now. So it's...

1/6 Hot Toys MMS 261-Star Wars: Episode IV-Han Solo 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

And why should they admit it? The picture, the brand, the name, the fame, all that has gotten into them. Objectivity gets thrown out of the window once you mention "Star Wars" to some of this lot. I'm all worked up over this because people WILL change their tune once a better version pops out...

1/6 Hot Toys MMS 261-Star Wars: Episode IV-Han Solo 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

Umm... Actually, no. If it was a headsculpt on a stick, most here would have different answers as to whose likeness the headsculpt has. Especially if it hadn't been shown as a full figure beforehand.

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

DMC itself is still in business, they just no longer produce cars. DeLorean Motor Company | The Best Source for your DeLorean They may or may not improve on the prototype depending on the big wigs' (aka licensor) decision . They can't do much more without the approval from the license...

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

We'll, based on my personal experience, I reckon this is more or less how HT does is business. Once a license is acquired, a base sculpt needs to be made along with accessories and what not which needs to be approved by an in-house supervisor which then after several revisions later be sent to...

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

Thanks for posting the video mate. CMIIW but the flux capacitor doesn't seem to light up the way it's supposed to. Exactly! That is the prototype they show to the studio. So it has to be as close as possible to the final product in terms of likenes and colour.

Re: Article: Hot Toys Robocop Diecast - OMG Photo Review Apparently I am. Visible proportion issue as well as lack of die cast parts. OMG's photos also show how limited the articulation is. The colour is its only saving grace imo.

If HT's new goal for 2014 was to dissapoint, well, they have succeeded.

Hot Toys - Back to the Future - 1/6 DeLorean Time Machine

Judging from the Delorean, I suppose you're right. I guess HT only managed to get the license for the first movie. Radiation suit Doc might be an exclusive next year, I reckon.
