I think you just have to cut along the seam on the back then plan to reattach by sewing on some snaps or using fabric glue to reseal.

I think they're too short. The Medicom Taylors look pretty nice next to Neca apes, Nova is a little too tiny but passable. The Medicom Lawgiver statue works with them as I think there were a few different size Lawgiver statues in the first movie. And if you really want to add to your Neca apes...

I bought a set in TRU and my Conquest Gorilla's left leg broke off at the hip. Luckily they had more sets and I was able to exchange it.

What's the NECA Taylor body like? Would that head fit on an old Mego body? I love the head sculpt but the molded boots and stubby looking arms bother me.

Veska looks good, and I'd be happy to have him but there are SO many other characters I'd love to see made BEFORE this one. Weird.

REALLY hope the TV series gorillas come with frickin bandoliers.

I feel like the sculpt is there w/Zaius version 2, but all the ones I've seen on the pegs have really bad paint jobs. Looks like the paint for the hair doesn't come up to the outline of the face. :(

Jessica, I also noticed how big Zira's noggin is. Shame, considering how awesome the rest of her is. I thought Zaius v1 was a little too tall as well.

Got series 2 Zira. Love the articulation (difficult considering the design hindrances) and the headsculpt and paint...except for the eyes. Almost looks like grey, glossed over zombie eyes. Too bad. Also love that the "photo" of her and Cornelius are actually a pic of the Neca figures. Nice touch.

I can only assume that there might have been a conflict with the bandolier and the backpack. Both would be kind of hard rubber/plastic I assume and having the backpack over the bandolier might just not work. That being said, they should have at least included them so that we'd have the option...

Agreed. So much attention to detail with the sculpt and color and yet they give us something that is missing kind of a key costume element to those characters. Very dissapointing.

Makes sense he'd be lower in the box, to make room for the helmet.
