Movie has a release date of March 16, 2018.

It seems like movies are taking way longer to make now a days, or just announced super early

Studios make much more effort to stake a claim on future release dates now. 20 years ago a solid release date wasn't normally set til the film was in the can, studios would usually just plan for a summer/winter etc. Release date, even if they had a specific date in mind. Now it's a big deal to claim as far ahead as you can, as you'll notice with Disney, they claim dates before they are even willing to announce what film will be taking that spot.

Vikander is great but this is a totally wrong role for her IMO.

Looks like they're going for the look of the 'Tomb Raider' game from 2013. Not bad, but I agree, this is an atypical role for her. Maybe she will pull it off, cool that she seems to be doing her stunts or some of them.
