I really like Jill in this one. Very evil and the actress seems to be really enjoying herself in the role. And she is more than a match for Alice!!! She is hot as hell too!!!

Ya, like some of you all guess, Barry died. I guess Capcom didn't have any plan for him. But it is a heroic dead. The actor did the best he could with the material I guess. He really only have a few lines and his appearance is really just for the fan of the game.
Leon is just weird. He speaks kinda like the game in the sense that he answers mainly with one or two words but the actor is also channeling Woody Harrelson in Zombieland ala the quiet sensitive man. It is really weird. They also hinted at past relationship between him and Ada and there is one funny scene regarding that.
I was quite sad they kill Luther too. I am glad to see him back and he is really the only one to have any sense of chemistry with Alice. Barry, Leon, Ada, they kinda treated Alice like some kind of package that they need to retrieve (which makes sense in the context of the movie) and don't have much interaction.
In fact the mother-daughter angle with Alice and Becky (little girl from the trailer) is given more focus and is quite sweet and touching, especially one scene near the end.
They are many scenes which feels have develop or maybe even missing some development. I am really hoping the Director's cut will restore that. As of now, it is pretty much pure action and some character development scene will really even out this movie.
Overall, it is a good fun flick and fans of the series will love it. Those who hated it will likely hate it even more.
