Ah, shows how much attention I was paying. 
Although originally I was on the fence about this, then heard it was awesome, then just splurged on the Kollector's Edition on a whim. So this wasn't incredibly planned out.

It is just lame they spread out the retro costumes IMO. I want them all. Luckily it looks like they will be released later as DLC.

I thought they were random, and some were more rare than others. So Kitana was a TRU exclusive?

Yeah I think Kitana was TRU, Mileena Walmart, and Jade with the Blu Rays of the movies (so a PS3 Exclusive).
I hope we get all of those and other retro characers as well.

I got the classic Kitana outfit as well as Jades since my friend bought both movies and they both had the code so he gave me one
Finally beat Challenge Tower, though I must confess I bought the last 2 Test Your Might challenges (give me a break, my thumbs were sore, that fight as Tsung vs, Baraka, Sindel and Shao Kahn was a killer and by far the hardest challenge on the whole tower, I did go back and finish them before the final battle). The final fight wasn't as bad as I was fearing. I got my ass pwned playing as Sheeva and Stryker but eneded up beating the challenge with good ol' Scorpion without too much trouble.

I thought the test your strikes were harder than any of the test your mights. Getting in within that range long enough to go green and then press the trigger was hard. I used my brother to help me with 1 or 2 of those (me button mashing and him pulling the trigger when ready)

The Test Your Strikes were a bigger pain I admit. Like I said the only reason I had such a hard time with the last 2 TYM's were my thumbs were sore.

Possibly dumb/obvious question: Is the original MK available for the 360 in any capacity? I know II is part of Midway's Arcade Treasures, but haven't come across the original, unless I'm overlooking something.

I'm like 99% sure that it came with the collector edition of the Deception on a second disc. Regardless though I don't believe that disc is playable on a 360.

I might be missing something, but why is the price of all of the Kollector's Edition pieces so high? It's not sold out everywhere.
I'm assuming it's because some people only want say, the bookends or the costume card (kard?), and don't want to buy the whole set, but adding up the pieces, it's crazy.
Like I mentioned, I'm not a big Ermac fan so I'm selling it off, and it's at $21 with 5 hours left. It's also wild how much that varies, since they seem to sell for anywhere from $10 to $30.
