It's a classic that everybody should read and see.

I actually found Plague Dogs, which is based on another Richard Adams book, more disturbing

My eyes have been opened. Both those flicks look amazing.

And the Dogs movie...HAS A SCENE WHERE A DOG SHOOTS A GUY IN THE FACE....holy ____.

This was billed as "Mark Twain's Mysterious Stranger." It was a short stop motion film made in the 70s I believe and supposedly based on a story Mark Twain really wrote. A lot of stuff from the late 60s/early to mid 70s made for children is very creepy by today's standards. H.R. Pufnstuf anyone?

Who knew bunnys were so ruthless...

I've never seen or read Watership Down but it was featured in the film Donnie Darko and I've been intrigued by it ever since I saw that movie. Apparently very controversial...my kind of book.

I've read the novel twice in my life and enjoyed it for its multiple themes that weave throughout.

It has been a while since I've seen the animated adaption (there are some differences between them), but I would recommend either of them.

To claim its a child's cartoon is misleading. When I saw the animated version for the first time as a kid it literally scared the @#%! out of me. I couldn't comprehend and appriciate it till I read the book many years later.

"Mark Twain's Mysterious Stranger." don't like it at all something very dark about that.
Only have recently seen it a few months back and it is still very disturbing.
Hers something a bit more lighter but still a bit weird / creepy which I used to watch.
