Nope, the dwarf was always part of the design. He was sculpted in a different material than the Troll though (and had to be sculpted separate and added to the Troll's grip later, to achieve the detail), which is why he's absent from those progress pics.

The censored stuff was for the Premium Format Slave Leia. I originally sculpted the PF but she was massively re-worked by another artist due to continuing licensor revisions (the final product is not mine).

Wowzers!!!! How I wish my studio still looked like that! :o It's definitely evolved a bit since this thread was started, I'll see if I can snap a few updated shots this weekend for kicks.
