    Trevor Grove's Firefly Sculpts

Looking for a little advice. I dug out a box of stuff that I had always been meaning to get to, but never had the time. Now with a child on the way my time will be even more tight. I purchased 8 of the 9 sculpts for the Firefly group from Trevor many years ago, including the casts for...

Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Life Size Figure

Now we have the finished, electronic version shown at SDCC. The questions is... do they have a price on it?

    Trevor Grove's Firefly Sculpts

Re: Trevor's Firefly Sculpts Your sculpts never cease to amaze me. I'm just glad that you have the drive to keep this line going. Many people give up after making a few pieces of a larger set. Thanks for sticking with it. :)

Holy crap! $7500? I hope that's wrong. Even if the sides lighted and the Han glowed red that would still be overpriced.

    low edition number

Edition number can be a crazy thing. For some reason, people pay ridiculous amounts of money for low numbers on Ebay, even though most of the products were randomly numbered later in the production process. The only numbering that I think is worthwhile is when a piece has a number that...

Prop MR Millenium Falcon power supply UK

I can't tell you what you need for the UK, but the US adapter says 9V 1.7A. It's actually the same adapter shipped with eFx Collectible's X-Wing, so you could theoretically contact them to see what UK version would be best.

Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Life Size Figure

Hmmm... I can't find any new pictures of this from today. I was hoping that it would be out on the floor, with all of the bells and whistles going (if there were any electronics). Everyone is just entranced by the 1:2 offerings instead... and I'm not sure if I can take another Joker photo...

Hot Toys Iron Man Mark III Stealth Version

Since this isn't exactly a comic or movie version, I would like to see something new. If they were going "stealth", why not make one with a matte black finish (like the stealth jet) and keep the eyes and chest piece red. I would be more into buying that than a blue Mark IV suit.

Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Life Size Figure

That thing looks sweet. I am guessing (hoping actually) that the top left control panel is set up to have the screen light up and make the appropriate sounds from the movie. It would be removable for battery access and maybe have a program much like the Master Replicas motion tracker, with...

IRON MAN 2 Mk VI Maquette photos

Not any particular site. I was looking on amazon.com and found lots of different sizes and finishes. I will probably end up with either a black surface or a darker stained wood, but I need to make sure that I leave room for both statue bases to fit. For example... Here is a link to an Amazon...

IRON MAN 2 Mk VI Maquette photos

You shouldn't be put off by the thread too much. Many of these are coming out nicely. If I were so worried about the overall experience I wouldn't have requested them to look into an exchange. I would have requested a refund. This is a nice piece. I am still excited to get a replacement...

IRON MAN 2 Mk VI Maquette photos

I wasn't thinking anything as fancy as the motor driven platforms... not that those aren't nice. My solution was to just get a decent quality dark stained wooden "lazy susan." That would allow me to manually change the angle while at the same time place both of the statues (IM and WM)...

IRON MAN 2 Mk VI Maquette photos

I decided to return it. The chip didn't bother me as much as the glue error. I can't repair the glue problem without sanding it down and repainting (which would be near impossible in terms of color and finish matching.) I eventually want to display these on a rotating platform, so the...

IRON MAN 2 Mk VI Maquette photos

I've had to wait a while to get mine, but now that it's open I need some advice from you guys. My IM's facepaint isn't all that bad (average), but there is a chip on the bottom of the left shoulder armor - pictured here. I suppose it would be pretty easy to put silver on that area and make...

    ******Free Sideshow Gift Cards******

I'm sure plenty of people would love to help, but if you unintentionally already "saved" one of the codes that came up for you when you first saw them appear, odds are that the code you saved is locked in as your SDCC 2010 account code. You can check your "Promotional Wallet" by looking at your...

    ******Free Sideshow Gift Cards******

I would imagine that anyone saving a code onto their account would make it impossible to use another code given to them by someone else. The system would refuse it as the account would already be linked to the first code. This would be a potential reason that an attempt to use a higher dollar...

    Sideshow selling QMx Serenity!

The print is about 15 and 3/16" by 11" The white edges take about 0.5" off each side, so the image itself is about 14" by 10" (but only showing the painted portions would eliminate the print edition number labeled at the bottom.)
