I too would definitely prefer a Momoa version from Hot Toys. He just looks better in my opinion. He fits the part. I'm sure Hot Toys will bring out both versions and please all Conan fans.

I had read most of Howard's stories before the Schwarzenegger pic even came out, and even as a kid I didn't think he fit the bill as Conan. Howard's description of Conan as agile, lithe and panther-like did not jive with Arnold's steroid-pumped physique that made it awkward for him to even swing...

Talk about He-Man! Arnold is to Conan what Adam West is to Batman. And no disrespect intended as I love Adam West ...

HT will probably wait for lot of people to initially splurge on the $250 eyeball-action figure before releasing the less expensive version with the old-fashioned painted eyeballs.

You got a point there Rogerbee. But I see so many people swapping out the body on the Sideshow, and it's something I'd probably want to do at some point if the joints really are all loose as many reviews say. I haven't been on the boards in a while. I'll have to research, see who's offering...

I would guess Hot Toys will get the Jason Momoa-Conan license since it landed The Expendables deal. Both Marcus Nispel's Conan film and Sylvelster Stallone's The Expendables were produced by Nu Image/Millennium Films, so I would assume a deal is already in place ... Can't wait!!
