I must say I've never done a trade as I just don't know that I trust that process. I have bought and sold on message boards to trusted friends without a problem, but I am always very careful about who I enter into those deals with. I do think Paypal provides some sense of protection so I do try...

Also, think about trades or purchases from fellow message board members - tips for that too would be helpful!
