It seems the SSC $50 code also helped people over the edge to order. Seeing as most people hated the movie, I was expecting the exclusive would be available a little bit longer.

Seems like you're the second person to get a blank promo card. I emailed SSC about it, and they said they would email me a new code within 24 hrs.

Does the $50 promo card have a unique code? Received mine, but both sides of my card are blank, no numerical code, nothing? :huh

FWIW, the Death Trooper in the movie who picked up the Stormie dollie was the regular DT w/range finder and short blaster. The Deluxe DT was based on the promo still before the movie came out. Not sure why the change, but might be a result of the extensive reshoots.
