The deluxe really should have came with the normal blaster. I still wonder why they gave the normal Death Trooper all of the blasters, but the deluxe only received the heavy blaster.

I picked up a loose blaster for mine also but paid $25 shipped. Should have been included for the price but can't do anything abut it now.

Yep, I agree, shoulda had the smaller blaster.

FWIW, the Death Trooper in the movie who picked up the Stormie dollie was the regular DT w/range finder and short blaster. The Deluxe DT was based on the promo still before the movie came out. Not sure why the change, but might be a result of the extensive reshoots.

Nothing to do with that. Hot Toys have tactfully spread the accessories across all 3 figures so if you want to be movie accurate you gotta get all 3.

Ended up taking the ammo pouch off and the pauldron and swapping weapons with my regular Specialist to get screen accuracy from the movie. Now I've got both an iconic intro pose and the iconic final scene pose (a tribute anyways, because of the lack of articulation) for both Specialists.

I bet your right and I ain't doing that, take that HT!!! ...::walks away with incomplete blaster set:::

Base is so small it kind of demands the leg up pose, I may use it to go with Obi-Wan as I have him next to Yoda. Thought about cancelling this figure a couple times but glad I didn't, it's really impressive.

Whatever HT used for the small blaster holster is the cheapest, weakest fake leather you could find. I've got 2 of the Death Troopers & both had to be reglued. It will separate from just having the blaster in it or trying to unclasp the magnet. But once they're glued back together they should be good to go.

I had the same issue, the magnet is so strong that the strap ripped right off. It would have been nice to put that warning in the directions. Oh well, it's glued now and holds the gun fine.

Nice outdoor photos TonTon! Along with everyone posting too! It sure is a great Trooper figure. I have the regular Specialist, but this one looks really nice as well with the long rifle and range-finder helmet.

I received my deluxe Deathtrooper the other day, looks great in person.
There is a small spot where it appears the plastic on the front of the helmet just at the left side brow ridge looks a little rough, not bad enough that I really need to contact for a replacement, but it is driving me nuts!
Anyone else have the same issue?

I have no where to display this so it stays in the box for now. It does make me really want to pick up the first issue Deathtrooper without the range finder though. I've got to keep reminding myself that I'll need that money for so many other figures that I also want....I.......MUST.....RESIST.....!
