Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight Rises - Catwoman/Selina Kyle
Above the belt, she looks nice. Her hands look um, odd, but if that was the only issue I wouldn't have a problem. Below, uh... That's where the troubles start. It's that fear of female hips and lack of understanding of the way they're...
No seriously. As a pretty big fan of all of the Robins, I think he did justice to the spirit of the character without being forced or outdated - and without playing favourites. He's an Elseworlds Robin-like character to me. Kind of like Carrie Kelly.
Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight Rises - Catwoman/Selina Kyle
That's how female bodies are build. The top part is the hipbone and the muscle above it, and the bottom part is the fatty deposit directly on top of the tendon holding the gluteus maximus in place. All sexually mature women are like...
If she slaps me, she's an idiot and needs to lern2englsh. Granted, I would never call a girl voluptuous. I might call a woman that.
Voluptuous (of a woman): curvaceous and sexually attractive. From the Oxford American Dictionary. ETA: This woman was the definition of voluptuous.
Scarlett is not "plump". She's voluptuous. Good god people, there is a difference. "Voluptuous" means having a wider bone structure (particularly in the shoulders and pelvis) and packing more adipose tissue over muscle. Wide hips, curvy waist, the works. "Plump" is Mrs. Santa.
I do think the...
Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
Honestly... The way I see it, I don't think we'll be seeing X-men FC stuff until after Bats. If they're now releasing figures to correspond with movie release, then they have Spiderman and TDKR to cover, plus the remaining three Avengers whom they have not...
Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
That's for sure McAvoy's nose. And the slant of the cheekbone. And the hair flippy-thing he has going. (I mean, it can still be Bale, but that's kind of a crappy likeness then...)
I was pretty sure they posted on their facebook something along the lines of...
Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
Wow! Having seen the new Loki figure (which is supposedly what the original intended Thor Loki from a long time ago got turned into), I can't help but hope that the extra delay might play into our hand and give us some really high-quality head-sculpts and...
Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
Charles is first? YES. (I actually wouldn't be surprised if he was the more popular character in Asia; his whole character (personality-wise, and physically) just seems to be ah, more in line with what pleases the fans over on the other side of the big pond, in...
It's the shape of his jawbone and the puffiness of his cheeks. His face is... a bit to square for Hemsworth. That's why in some pictures you can see a likeness - where you can't tell how low and wide his jaws are.
... Then there's how in-set and close together his eyes are, how short his nose...
Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
Wasn't there talk of Charles, Erik, Beast and Emma somewhere in the beginning of this thread? I doubt we'll get more than two THIS time around. But if XMFC sequel lives up to the expectations established by XMFC (and therefore has a much better box office...
Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
I am... strangely serene in my waiting for this line. Now that it's pretty much been confirmed that something's in the works (I doubt they'd hint at making something in an interview if they didn't even have a clue as to when they'd start), I'm just patiently...
Re: Hot Toys-MMS: X-Men 1st Class
Well, there are supposed to be more X:FC movies in the future... So maybe if they rise in popularity (X:FC didn't do as well at the box office as it should have due to the negative criticism of the previous two X-men movies), we'll see some more characters...
