Any news or hint of when is 1/4 happening...or is it even still on their road-map? There has been no news from HT for over 2 years now. Some teaser pics should've been available if it was happening this year.

First in the comparison pics the regular head is out of focus. Second, they're the same sculpts with very minor changes in texture and paint. Just a few months apart not light years. It's funny how objectivity changes with excitement.

While I think that tylerdurden was a little harsh on criticizing the likeness I share his disappointment with this figure. Also, calling people names because their opinion is different from majority is childish to say the least. As with most figures, the first thing that throws off the likeness...

Arnold's weakest part were always his shoulders. They are rounded and kind of hanging. I guess I'm with few here who thinks that this should've been a statue, or at least with rubberized joints. I understand people who like to do different poses, and so do I but in reality I think that most poses won't look very dynamic with this body. Joints make the figure look primitive...more...

They are making Rocky I, and I don't see a reason why it would be any inferior.

Tweaking the final production is not as easy as some people think. Especially in such a short time. It's the same sculpt...just different angle/camera/lighting and perhaps a different paint job. Having said that, I agree with most that it looks quite a bit better in the last pic.

If you zoom just on the eyes I think that hardly anyone would recognize Stallone. On the other hand take HT Barney Ross and do the same and it's quite evident who it is.

Well HT mentioned that they're gonna do figs from Predators in 1/4, so I'm guessing that all the preds have a good chance.

Let me rephrase my statement. I think that it looks the BEST for one angle. Looking at him from bottom up or profile it does look cartoonish....like many have mentioned.

As I've mentioned this before....doing an Arnie Conan figure is not only about getting the facial likeness. Since Conan is not wearing much clothing it's crucial to get the body proportions right, and joints will definitely need to be hidden. Some kind of a different advanced rubber body needs...

The photo with the BW version is distorted, so it's not fair to judge from that photo. However, I must say that BW looks good only from one angle. We're yet to see more photos of the EB version so I would hold my final judgement.
