Got my shipping notice yesterday (opted for Leia only). Everyone's amazing pics really have me excited for this, been waiting to display the Endor Twins since the Comicon teaser years ago. It's been a long wait

Great pic! My hardest decision is going to be Leia with or without helmet. So far I'm leaning with but both look awesome.

Lol, I realize im def worthy of the mocking and scorn! The Ewok is a great figure, no doubt. With the way the job market and economy is, I had to make some concessions to my hobby spending. I could justify the Endor Leia (almost cancelled but couldn't) but just couldn't get there on Wicket. I...

Ok. I know it's laughably bad, but I couldn't talk myself into spending another 200+ for the Ewok. It's not that he isn't awesome, but that price...I am just sticking with Endor Leia. This cheapo one will have to do.

Got notice today they are starting to take monthly payments for Endor Leia. Hopefully she stays on track.

I'd say that improves the figure to "almost passible" as a Luke, but nothing more. And I feel I'm being generous with "almost". Also looks like that sculpt hasn't slept in 4 days. My opinion only.

100% agree. I mean, people are allowed to like what they like...but anyone comparing this to the HT and deciding it's a superior figure...I have to believe it's someone trying to feel better about their wrong choice and not being patient enough to wait for the Hot Toys version. The cloak...

Deluxe is the only one with the wind swept hair, no? If so, that would probably be your best bet. I love the deluxe extras, especially the V2 hilt.

The sculpt was my main gripe with it. I had it pre-ordered and ending up just eating the deposit. As much as I wanted to convince myself it looked like Luke/Mark Hamill, I just could never see it. Just looked like a generic face sculpt with Endor clothing on

Yeah, I'm still loving this figure. Just a great release. I remember when the Sideshow Deluxe came out some folks were convinced how much better it was going to be than the Hot Toys. I'm wondering if anyone still actually believes that.

Not sure I follow the logic of the HT original Luke for a "pure Jedi" look. The only things the original Luke came with that the deluxe doesn't have is the Jabba Palace cloak and the hand bindings. Oh and the fat suit, lol. The original comes with that.

I agree. I think it looks great with the wind swept hair and desert storm scarf/wrap.

I'll tell you, for a $28 figure, it's pretty good. Definitely feel it was worth it. Not sure why my pictures aren't doing it justice, but it does look pretty great in hand. It's not perfect but seems it was definitely improved over the early promo pics.
