I actually like Spider-Man and hoped to like the Web film. I thought it was "okay," but essentially an overrated rehash of Raimi's flick with a lizard. Though, as I've said, I felt the CG was better (at least with Spider-Man). That said, I've already posted that I hope it gets better with the sequel.

I enjoy Nolan's Batman franchise. I've even stated several times that Begins is my favorite Batman movie. I just don't believe Nolan is the messiah of celluloid which causes the most friction with Nolancompoops.

Now, on the other hand, You've openly and repeatedly trolled this thread expressing your hate and despising for the other RE movies upto and including calling this one garbage and trash even before it was released. I'm not the only one who's seen this as others have also called you out on your bull****. Repeatedly.

I, on the other hand, have loved every single film produced for Resident Evil, appreciate them for what they are, and understand that they're not supposed to be directly connected with the video game franchise of the same name.

Hunters, plants, moth, etc., in the very first RE were mutants. So it's dealt with both zombies and mutated creatures since the beginning.

I'm not even going to give the troll the satisfaction of PMing him (and will again report him to Dave if he SPAMs my inbox with harassing PMs). He knows he's trolling and knows Eli brought him up. He's just incapable of admitting that here, despite us already knowing he's doing it. Apples and Oranges my friend. Resident Evil =\= 50-70 years of comics where that kind of stuff is expected. Wesker was pretty much raised evil in the games, he was never once a shred of good except when he had to fool STARS and even then I'd hardly call him "good." He was very emotionless when he was with STARS.

Sorry for this late reply but I was at the movies watching Retribution and it isn't even close to being as bad as some of you are acting like.

Speaking of apples and oranges, hero/villain team ups to defeat a common enemy =/= villain showing signs of being good. 9 times out of 10 when ever a hero has to partner with his arch nemesis (or even a lesser villain) the bad guy is only doing so because they have their own evil and sinister motives.
