Just got on the waitlist for new regular head and detachable arm for Rogue. ETA for replacements are in December. Well that is the info I got from SS rep. Daniel.
Here's hoping they arrive sooner than later.

Yes. I saw the regular the other day. The head is removable, but just as poorly painted.

Wow this is the most epic thread ever. Sorry for being a noob. Its my first post. It took most of the Holiday break to read this thread. I started in the 400's.

But even with all of that reading I am a little confused. Maybe you guys can help me out.

I see that the Rogue is backorded. I went a head and placed an order. While I wish I could find the EX version at a cheap price I know that aint going to happen. Even with all of her issues. With that being said. Can someone tell me if I where to have my order filled what is the chance that I will need to turn around and ask for replacement? Did SSC end up changing manufacturers (Painters?), or are they only doing heads? Because of the potential for replacement I decided to try and buy from SSC direct rather than the secondary market due to their replacement policy.

As of now, I think replacement heads are only on order for those who complained directly to SSC and got on a list. Per the emails I have received, there are no details about repainting or changing manufacturers. It would seem like they are going to at the very least make new heads so hopefully they allow the painters more time to do a much better job. I thought people would get more waitlist orders converted but since SSC agreed to the head replacements, maybe less people decided to send their Rogues back. In any case, it will prob be tough to get her through SSC unless they decide to create new EXs along with the new heads...though this would be shady since it would affect the ES. Ebay or on here would be a way to go but it will prob cost you a mark up of at least $100 above retail. I dunno, maybe people are still having luck through SSC via cancelled or returned orders but I doubt it...good luck in your search!
