Re: Rogue

I voiced my concern in the thread!

"Sideshow I think the best way to make this right is to stop any more reg or ex Rogue from being shipped, and Repaint all of them and properly check before shipping them out, It will rebuild the faith in your loyal customers who spend Thousands anually on your products and save you money by shipping and returning products so PLEASE STOP ANY FROM BEING SHIPPED AND REPAINT BOTH FACES! Rogue is probably the most important female character and needs to be Perfect!!! "

Uh-huh...and here will be Sideshow's reply:

"There have only been one or two complaints about sloppy paint applications and googly eyes."

...then, delay in shipment of the 2nd batch so that they can take all of the sloppy paint returns from the 1st batch and send them out to orders in the 2nd batch.

My faith in Sideshow's quality control is just a tiny notch above my faith in politicians and insurance providers...and that is because I can return anything I do not like from Sideshow. This is the #1 reason I only have ONE Sideshow item on preorder with them; Psylocke EX PF.

Re: Rogue

I just sent an email to Sideshow complaining and demanding a replacement for the heads. I wouldn't take a full refund or sell this, I need her to complete this line. I hope angel and psylocke will be much better.

In the mean time I am enjoying rogue from far distance :)

Re: Rogue

They use the same counting system on complains as they do in their newsletters.....

You'd better get your Pre-Order secured for the Rogue Premium Format Figure today, because with only FIVE (5) left of this southern belle, your time to ensure she's standing in your collection is running out!

Re: Rogue

Just sent em a nasty email(worded as professionally as possible) about the issue demanding replacement heads. we'll see what the response will be...

Hi Diogo,

Thank you for your email and for your concern regarding the Rogue Premium Format Statue. I have scanned through the pictures and comments on the boards. We are aware of the complaints that some of our collectors have and right now we have had a small handful of people that have actually contact us. While on the boards, I did notice that a majority of the people are commenting and judging the piece on the same 3 or 5 photos. While we appreciate the passion our collectors have for our products, I am afraid it is a little too early to comment on anything as of yet.

Of course, if when you receive your statue you are not happy with it, we will do our best to assist you as we have always done in the past. As a reminder, all our items are hand painted and hand crafted. Each will vary slightly and its best to hold any critiques until you receive your own individual item.

We do appreciate your concern and your feedback and your critiques have been forwarded to our production team.

As always, if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Best Regards,

Re: Rogue

Is this the biggest uproar with a Sideshow product?

This is definitely shaping up to be the biggest, IMO. :lol

The Faith polystone statue (from Buffy) is due out in a few months. Pics from SDCC were posted and compared to the original painted-up prototype. It was 'night and day.' I can only imagine what the final product will look like. Has me worried, TBH.

Well good luck on that Chap, hopefully this would be the last time Sideshow drops the ball. Once again I salute the QC sticker department for such a commendable job! You guys muther____in' rock! :rock

@Ricardo
Wow! Just a handful have voiced their complaints?
I doubt that ____ filled excuse... :dunno

No, I think the Ironman Maquette was, but this is going to be bad because the poor paint apps are SO obvious.

Oh the "Chin" fiasco. I think this has the momentum of upstaging that one, since the mistake is staring you right in the face... Well at least one eye is staring at you.

I really do admire SSC's Customer Department and the job they do for their customers. But I just wish these recent prototype pics were a little more accurate when it comes to the representation of the final product.

I can understand if they changed the sculpt and said 'Well, prototypes may vary and this is an example of that.' But that's not the case here. The sculpts aren't the problem. It's the paint apps. And I understand they're going to allow an artist extra time to paint up a prototype to really 'reel' in the fans, but this is a little extreme. The paint apps look so bad that it almost looks like it's a totally different sculpt. I'm almost tempted to say it ruined the piece, and I don't think I've ever said that about a SSC piece.
