Agreed! Although to be honest, I don't have the color to compare my SSE to.

These maquettes are ALL tremendous pieces. Well done, Sideshow. I prefer the SSE better... but that's just my opinion. I can totally see why some would prefer the color versions.

In my most humble opinion... they should swap the edition sizes though. It's rough that the uber-limited version is the version more people probably identify with and desire!

His flesh should be whiter/lighter like the proto. I love the sculpt but real disappointed in the paint ops.

I somewhat agree. Sideshow really needs to sit down with their Chinese contacts, and see if they can do anything to improve the quality control at the factory.

But, be that as it may, I am still completely in love with this piece (both the color and the SSE).

Tomorrow I promise to take a bunch of photos of both of the new dios, and I'll include some of the (color) Frank vs Wolf Man dio as well.
