^Would it be wrong if I asked how much mileage you've gotten out of that ride? :monkey1

All jokes aside though, this is what I use on the weekends. It works really well for getting around in cold weather:

Luketauntaun.jpg

But getting out if it is... messy, and a total pain in the butt. It doesn't matter how much I clean, there's always intestines and blood everywhere. The smell also attracts ghetto Wampa hoodrats, who want to steal my ride and strip it for parts.

I'm thinking about picking up a 2013 focus sedan titanium model. Currently I have a 2011 sonata turbo. Looking to save some money on the payments. Anyone have one of these new focuses?

An excellent choice sir.

:slap :slap

I've had to stay clear of the Freddy PF thread and now this one. Boo.

I'm considering the Cadillac CTS "Bachelor." I'm kind of addicted to it and I've waited a year to really decide and no other car has made me change my mind.

I can't find pics of that one. To me, the CTS-V Coupe is a pretty neat looking car, but the other models, like the CTS-V sedan, are less so, and the CTS coupe, Sport Sedan and Sport Wagon are all hideous. Those grilles are so ugly, it's like they tried to come up with the ugliest front end they could.

The new Ford Fusion is a MUCH better looking car, because it looks like an Aston Martin DB9. Not exactly, obviously, but there are clear styling cues, of one of the best looking cars ever designed.

The Chevy Volt is a pretty nice looking car, too. The Cruze is not bad looking but it's a little weird looking. The Malibu is also hideous from the front, like the Cadillacs, but in a different way.
The Impala's styling is so boring and blah, it makes me want to take a nap.

I guess you are looking for a coupe or sedan that seats 4.

Cadillac has never produced a vehicle called the Bachelor or an Escalade with Bachelor name plates. The vehicle may have been modified after the point of sale in this case. I hope that helps to answer your question.

Jeff Morris, GM Customer Service"

Is it some special package offered by Ken Batchelor Cadillac in San Antonio , Texas?

Wow, you have a lot of time on your hands. I have no clue but I can take a photo of his car's rear end if you need it that badly. Either way, it's cts and I want it. 2 door coupe. His just happens to say bachelor.

I've always been very interested in automotive styling. I have a passion for it. My grandfather actually used to be a manager at a GM dealership.
I took this opportunity to investigate modern sedan styling, just to keep up. Normally most new cars are so bland and boring, if not ugly, I don't give them a second look.
I judge a car's looks compared to every single car ever made, and not just compared to other new models. I think that if they made a really beautiful car 50 years ago, there is no excuse for a car being made today that is any less beautiful. A new car uglier than an older one is an embarrassment and a humiliation to the concept of automotive design and especially to those companies and people who had any responsibility for that design.

Actually I have as much passion for cars as I do for collectible statues, if not more. A beautiful car is a work of art that you take with you where you go. You stop and talk to people about your car when they ask, and you have a work of art you show everyone else you see on your errands. Why drive a ho hum box on wheels when you can drive a work of art, and share the beauty with everyone outside who sees it? If a person truly loves art, I don't see how they can justify, or love driving a car that is less than beautiful.
To me, making sure that any new car made is beautiful is a moral IMPERATIVE.
So many things in nature are inherently beautiful, that to deliberately make something ugly to be seen by all outside is an eyesore and a blight upon the planet. It is basically sinful. It is basically an abomination.

Actually Google search found that answer for me in seconds. I got nothing with Cadillac CTS Bachelor, but when I omitted CTS, i got that link on the first page.
I would be curious to see a pic of that car.

As far as understanding beautiful automotive styling is concerned, let me give a few examples.
The 1938 Bugatti Type 57.
It's design flows together so gracefully and streamlined.
Ettore Bugatti, the founder of the company, came from an artistic family, and he decided that he wanted to build his own car. That's my kind of guy.

Delahaye were also very beautiful cars.

Ferrari 550 Maranello. This car is interesting, because although it looks fairly plain at a distance, when you get within 5 feet of it you see nice subtle curves you can't see well at a distance, so that is far more sensuous a design than would otherwise be apparent.

There are cars I left out, but these should suffice to give you an idea of how beautiful cars have been , can be, and should be.

Lets get right to the point.
The 1956 Cadillac is a much better looking car than the 2013

https://www.google.com/imgres?imgur...&sa=X&ei=k7AFUeP8F6rwigLX3YFQ&ved=0CBQQ9QEwAA

So is the 59 Cadillac, even in pink.
https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/1959-Cadillac-DeVille-Pictures-c8493
and the 1960 Cadillac.

Cadillac talks about style but they can't even make a car as nice looking as they made 50 years ago.

It's ridiculous and embarrassing.

A car can be very expensive and ugly, too. The new Rolls Royce and Bentley s look like bread boxes on wheels.
https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_J4zq7wyX...0/bentley-brooklands-automobiles-de-luxe1.jpg

Compare that to the Aston martin DB 9, which costs less.

https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-A7dN1dVq...jykAcu16gT4/s1600/Aston+Martin+DB9+manual.jpg
https://www.astonmartinw.com/category/aston-martin-db9/

Why would someone buy a Bentley instead of an Aston Martin for more money? Don't they have to look at it? Why would someone do this to themselves?
