Yeah, we'll maybe shoot for a contest starting either on December or January first... I'll check around to see if we can sponsor a prize, or maybe go with the entry fee.

Although I don't know if people will be willing to enter and pay a fee if it's a random drawing. I don't want to go to voting as I think it's against the spirit of getting everyone to share their work.

But if it continues to be a success I'd love to see this become a quarterly event

If its understood that its a random drawing, then I dont see a problem.
Its more luck than skill which opens the door for everybody and even beginners like me!
I think people would enter because it is fun to make something amazing and fun to show, and with an entrance fee as little as 10.00 or even at a 5.00 fee from 10 people would be 50.00 cash money...or gift card. That's great.
Also imo, December would be better due to the Holiday sculpt possibilities. :

That's what I really liked about this contest. It wasn't to be better than everyone in terms of skill, it was to just share work and have fun with it.

I dunno. What I liked about this one was that everyone could enter no matter what, maybe put in a donation system, but I vote against a fee.

great job here galactiboy... we have many sellers..why not ask them for prizes. I mean I appreciate TA so much for providing the prize I bought from them just for the heck of it... lol and no to entrance or joiner's fee..takes away the fun

Sorry guys the body I ordered never came (I received a refund) and I have been ill so I never had a chance to knock up something last minute

Or somebody create a ssf diadem/crest for the winners to place it on their signature...sometimes bragging rights means more than a cash reward

And no worries on the suggestion, I think it's good one and might be viable. But I also think that I might be able to get different retailers to provide a hook-up.

I'll do some asking around and let's shoot for a Holiday inspired theme at the end of the year
