gotta still hair mine...I get off from work at around 5...so that will give me 5 good hours until I reveal....ran a little late the last few weeks with work and daily life stuff....so yeah...just started painting last night...but I think I got pretty far...

Alright so it's Halloween today! I thought I'd post my entry but clearly it won't be close at all. You all made some awesome customs! Like seriously you guys outdid yourself. All deserve to win something and have a pat on the back. For my entry if you couldn't guess it well since I'm a HUGE Universal Monsters fan. I reworked my Sideshow Frankenstein figure. Colored version. Still on the hunt for the Silver Screen Edition. The original over coat he comes with is this light green color. I know most toy companies have done that with the Frankenstein figures but too me it doesn't seem to be accurate. Even if the film was in Black n White. I don't believe the screen used coat was Green so I went for a Black overcoat which I customized by examining many photos of Karloff. I bulked him up too to give him the accurate appearance. Dirtied up the coat and added soME weathering. Did the same thing to the pants and boots a bit. I'm very happy with how he turned out. I was originally going to ship off the head and hands to Galactiboy to paint up but decided not too because it's a Classic Sideshow figure that I would at least like to keep that in it's original state. I know it sounds clichéd bit it really is my favorite time of year and this is the best way I can think of for the big kids to play. I'm loving the classic monsters! We have a mummy, Frankenstein's monster, and a werewolf. There's even a vampire! Great work guys!

ImI agree with ApeMan the Universal stuff is classic Sideshow. Dig that Wolfman and the Mummy is tops too! Great stuff all around guys!

Regrettfully bowing out of this year's Halloween challenge. It was really close, but I didn't want to rush it. I guess there's no harm in showing my sculpt now though.

Great stuff guys... still an hour to go before the cut off time

I'll post the winners tomorrow morning.

Here's my contribution; I call him Sweetheart (for the heart shaped wound that is his face). Just a kitbashed figure using bits and pieces from my bins... the head is a the generic "Tom Cruise" from the TTM body and the skull is one Bantha5 offered a few years back.

ok...i think i got my computer under control...it conspired to not let me upload my pics...lol...anyways....i started the paint jobs on all these guys yesterday and after i got to work...worked straight through dinner....and literally just finished half an hour ago....anyways...their names are...Itty and Bitty (evil Twins from the medieval times) and Mr. Pago (evil Demon Clown)....hope you guys like....really enjoyed these...i had to cut out 3 of my other entries because i wouldn't have had the sufficient time to finish them all...sucks cause i have extra clown stuff now...lol..anyways...can't wait to do it again next year!!!!
