    Arnold or Stallone ?

I like First Blood a lot, especially the last scene where John breaks down, but I'd be lying if I said that I thought it was better than any of the three films you just listed. ;)

    Arnold or Stallone ?

Notice that I compared them to Sly's comedies, which mostly consists of Stop or My Mom Will Shoot. Now...which movies, if given a choice between the three, would you watch? ;) Also, Twins and K-Cop are good films. I didn't know this was ever in dispute.

    Arnold or Stallone ?

What I meant was that aside from those two films (the sequels don't count because they're only enjoy as campy guilty pleasures), Sly is a direct to video star. He doesn't have the charisma to get him past that. Take away Conan and Terminator and Arnold still has Predator, Commando, Running Man...

    Arnold or Stallone ?

Arnold, without a seconds hesitation. Better movies and a cooler personality. Take away Rocky and First Blood from Stallone's filmography and he's basically one step above Van Damme and Seagal. Whereas Arnold has Conan, Terminator, Commando, Running Man, Predator, Red Heat, Total Recall...

    SMALLVILLE: Season 8

I think the answer to both of your questions is undeniably "Lex". ;)

    SMALLVILLE: Season 8

Oh yeah...so I guess Lex is coming back at some point. I haven't read anything about Rosenbaum returning, but I certainly hope he returns for an episode or two.

    SMALLVILLE: Season 8

The Legion when Smallville returns will consist of Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, and Cosmic Boy. I sincerely hope so.

The official "Blu-Ray is not as good as DVD" Thread.

I had this same player, the NS700H, but ended up returning it because of a problem with the progressive mode. Instead, I picked up the Pioneer 410V, the #1 rated player in Consumer Reports and it's on par with the Oppo 980, but at half the price. A wonderful player that does practically...

Yet another great episode. Very happy they didn't reveal much of Doomsday. The wait til January will be...difficult.

The Blu-Ray Upcoming, News & Info Thread

Re: Blu-ray wins format war Masterstroke? Okay. Whatever floats your boat I guess. Did you somehow miss the extremely large gap of $100+ million between DVD and Blu-Ray? At best it's performing as well and at worst it's a niche format compared to DVD. I thought I had said. At this point...

J.J. Abrams' Star Trek (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)

Re: J.J. Abrams' Star Trek The Voyage Home is excellent. It keeps the optimistic spirit of the series, has a positive message, a great smart script, and wonderful comedy. I find it hard to dislike the film. "Double dumbass on you!" :D

J.J. Abrams' Star Trek (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)

Re: J.J. Abrams' Star Trek I enjoy Trek, but I must confess that it's mostly confined to the movies. I've seen a several episodes of The Original Series, which I enjoyed very much. But outside that, I could never get into the various other shows for one reason or another. I'd rate the films as...

Re: Blu-ray wins format war Youre acting like a child.' If you had read my posts, you would have seen that I had said this a couple of times, leading to my conclusion that Blu-Ray is a PS3 format and not a genuine home video format like DVD since the PS3 is the only legitimate machine that...

Re: Blu-ray wins format war Please. Grow up. I'm simply stating my opinion and backing it up. I'm sorry you can't handle a mature discussion, free of name-calling and baseless accusations, weighing the pro's and con's of a subject like an adult. The Blu-Ray Upcoming, News & Info Thread

Re: Blu-ray wins format war Please read the entire post before commenting. I said that a firmware update would be okay if it was to access advanced special features, but needing a firmware update just to load a disc is absurd. All Blu-Ray players should play all Blu-Ray discs. Period. 2-3...
