Doesn't seem to be the case since in one of the pictures has the lightsaber lighting up on its own. Or the picture could just be a marketing ploy and the iron man gimmick does seem to be the most plausible possibility I've heard so far... Thanks!
Has anyone figured out how they managed to get the lightsaber light up without cables running out of the end of the hilt onto a battery pack? I have never seen any button battery small enough to fit into the hilt....
Judging from that photo, I think the batsignal in the movie is raised on some sort of pedestal or concrete platform or summat since the bottom bit of the light housing is about waist high in that photo. I think the size is pretty spot on.
Thanks for posting that vid. The set looks decent though not worth $400 for sure. Again, the pants make them both look doll-ish because of the way they are tailored, the underlying joints get very very pronounced to the point where you see a huge gap between the femurs thus making them look...
Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS275 - John Blake and Jim Gordon with Bat-Signal Collectible Set
Anyone notice that lately HT's getting their 1/6 costumes done rather hastily? I mean look at Blake, his costume makes him look like something out of Robot Chicken or something. Especially around the crotch...
Well, to be fair, the reason why the line put me off from buying any of them is the fact that in most iterations you can see that a person can't possibly fit inside the suit if they were blown to 1/1 scale. So, they gave all out as long as their time is concerned, yes, but definitely no effort...
Pretty sure the artist who developed the headsculpt for Han has other things on his/her plate and also deadline to meet. If positive thinking is our aim here then give 'em time.
I had the exact same experience! Though I began by collecting McFarlane figures. And inch my way up after I got myself a job. 1/6 is where I draw the line though.
Apart from the basement thing, I believe that is the life most people who were born in the eighties are living right now. So it's...
And why should they admit it? The picture, the brand, the name, the fame, all that has gotten into them. Objectivity gets thrown out of the window once you mention "Star Wars" to some of this lot.
I'm all worked up over this because people WILL change their tune once a better version pops out...
Umm... Actually, no. If it was a headsculpt on a stick, most here would have different answers as to whose likeness the headsculpt has. Especially if it hadn't been shown as a full figure beforehand.
DMC itself is still in business, they just no longer produce cars.
