Wow, this was so depressing reading through this! I can't believe how many Sideshow fakes have been cropping up!!! :thud: Makes me happy that pretty much all my pieces have come from Sideshow directly. Though, these fakes are so rampant, makes me wonder if the Sideshow ones are maybe fakes too...

Some of us have been saying this all along. But people order regardless - thinking it's just the photos, or that SS will fix the inaccuracies. I honestly would like nothing more but I won't be holding my breath!

Hey Shell, I was just looking through some of these listings and noticed that for John Howe's Barad-Dur Giclee, you have Sideshow Gun listed as having 79/500... That's actually me from the old ezboard days! And yes, I've still got it. :yess:

i just read through this whole thread and really enjoyed it! the helmet looks beautiful, though I wouldn't expect anything less having been cast from an original - about time they got it right!! :rock

I wonder how much polystone is actually in this thing? Throne is probably hollow (only 4.5kg, doom is 11.3kg), and body probably has a lot of plastic.

A bit disappointing! The only 'premium' thing I see about this piece is the price! :monkey2 I hope it's just another case of underwhelming SS pics but as I see it the exclusive is just lame (looks like he needs to take a crap and Vader crazy glued him to the chair for a laugh). And the head...

I think he looks great, really captures Gimli's "colourful" character! Though, I'd much rather him in PF. So I'll keep waiting... patiently waiting... :impatient:
