Anyone know about casting in metal?

If your use silicone rubber moulds before you porn in the metal make sure you give each side a light dusting of talc powder otherwise the surface will be all blotchy and have slight bubbles.I have no idea why talc powder but it ALWAYS works. Cheers - PM

    Neil Sims Doctor Who sculpts

I understand Neil at the moment is very ill. As for the Matt Smith head sculpts I made around 20 castings from a mould I made from the original head made by Neil and sent to me by Babyjelly; so now you he will be able to supply you with them if you PM him. Cheers - PM

Re: New Doctor Who Figures? the Weeping Angel is very good. I bought two. I also have the new red Dalek. At first I didn't like its shape but I have got used it and it is more menacing. It is much bigger than the normal shaped Daleks, probably to reflect the tv series. Overall the new wave of...

Hi Babyjelly. Thanks for getting back to us. It would seem Neil is genuinely ill. In the past I have had contact with him and he has always replied but if there is complete silence from him ten the poor chap must be very ill.I do hope he gets better. Not for us but for himself and his family...

    What's your latest purchase?

Today, in the London Forbidden Planet store I got an Amy Pond, Ironside Dalek and a Screaming Angel. I have to say that this new series of Action figures under the Matt Smith era, are very good indeed.

It is so disappointing too! Not one reply. When I sell on Ebay I answer ever question no matter how banal or un-serious the question! :(

Re: New Doctor Who Figures? I bought some Dr Who figures(Hartnell) from the Forbidden Planet store in Dublin while I was there last week. The figures are very good. I am loathed to take them out of the packet, but I may do for one of them and make a mould of it and cast and paint-customize my...
