It took me two days to get most of the trophies sans the challenge maps, and then I reached "Shock and aww s%&*". Maybe next time when I'm in the mood for punishment.
Or in the mood for something actually challenging :lecture

The key to beating shock and awe for me has been using the 3 batarang combo knockdown move to get many thugs on ground and then this sets you up to doing ground take downs frequently.

can we use skins in story mode for AC? doesn't seem to be an option...

You could use skins in the last game without New Game +.

"To unlock this, simply press the following combination on the Main Menu screen (after you have selected your save slot): - Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down. You will get an audio confirmation and when you continue your game, you will get the option to select your favorite skin."

I haven't tried it in RtA though.

In the remastered version, I was able to use the skins right off the bat. You may need to restart it, though, if you can't access it. A lot of stuff, like Harley's Revenge was locked when I first booted the game up because it was still installing.

:duff it let me choose one once I quit out and rejoined. Love AC's TDKR's skin.

They also show up in custscenes which is nice.

Yeah, I had shut the game down after being ambushed by the Joker in the Steel Mill, and, when I popped the game in the next day, with the TAS Batman skin, I was pleasantly surprised to see him groaning in the cold with a cell phone taped to his chest.:lol

what an odd image.

Man, AA was great. But the polish on AC is fantastic. I forgot just how great this game is from graphics to side missions.

I know this might be sacrilege to some people, but I'm actually kind of conflicted on AA. He looks weird as hell when he talks, but, in terms of just playing through the game, where he's in "stoic" Batman mode for the vast majority of it, I may actually prefer the Remastered Batman character model. Also, is it just me or do the UE4 remastered character models seem a bit more realistic and proportional (characters like Bane and Croc withstanding). Batman seems less pinheaded and a bit more svelte in AA, and Joker's face doesn't seem as elongated.

Of course, it has been several years since I last played AA, so, I could just be misremembering.:lol

no you're right on the money, some parts that are repolished are alright, but there's a lot there that's cleaned up and looks quite amazing.

While a lot of added effects look "nice", I don't like how most of the cutscenes don't feel as "cinematic" anymore.

PSA: New patches have been released for both games and I tried the one for AC, and the game performs MUCH more smoothly now. Gone are nearly all of the stuttering and framepacing issues. They're still there, but compared to what we got before this game feels incredibly solid now. Now I can actually recommend the collection!

Yeah, I saw the AA patch downloading while playing another game and I was like "****. I already beat it.":lol

I'm glad they patched them, though. I hope to dive back into AC soon.

I heard AA is almost completely fixed, gone are the stupid stuttering that happens every time you change direction. AC had some of those issues, but suffered from an unlocked framerate, which makes the game supper erratic. I tried the AC patch and it seems to make the game hover at that 30fps rate, which is a God send. Now I can actually play it without vomiting!
