Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

Alright, just came from seeing it for the first time. I know nobody cares but here are my two cents anyway.

I liked... I really liked it. I was entertained the whole time, I really liked the characters and thought the story was good. I think this is the best DC movie yet (in fact, I think it will be better than the actual Justice League movie). I thought the cast had enough chemistry and I was surprised at how much I liked Deadshot, Rick Flag and El Diablo. Oh man, Captain Boomerang was great too.... ah forget it, I loved how they portrayed all the characters. Even the Joker wasn't as bad as I was expecting. We didn't get to see much so it's hard to really get a feel of that character but I think he had a good mix of crazy and criminal going on. At first I thought I wasn't going to like his relationship with Harley seeing that it's so different from the interactions they have on the cartoon and comics but I think this version worked well too.

Overall, great movie. I would definitely go watch Suicide Squad 2.

I agree with this statement :goodpost:

The only thing that matters in the end is how much it makes it crossed the 300 million mark so doing pretty well so far

Ok, back from 2nd viewing.

Yup, my 1st judgement was correct, the movie held up just fine.

I liked it that even they recognized that they were way over their heads therefore the bar scene works really well in establishing their desire to move forward with their mission.

Yes wife liked the Harley-Joker love story, no shocker there. :lol

I get though why their relationship bugs Clown, but i'm ok with it.

I want every new cinematic Joker to be different from the previous version.

Everytime I watch BvS now I will think about the Skwad existing in that same universe, cool beans.

Enchantress "incident" will more than likely have to be mentioned in the JL movie.

I almost kind of wished that Enchantress took possession of Harley and saw how crazy she was and bolted back out of her. :lol

Robbie did a great job in this movie.

I'm sure my fridge and washer will go next year a month after their warranty has expired, as was the case this week.

FML.

That's alot of toys I could've bought.

Nope, my dryer and washing machine both just died this week, $1,300 down the drain. :gah:
