That's weird, mine had absolutely no issue with the cape and ice shard. They definitely were very close to each other but it never required me to "bend" the cape or anything. I did have a problem however with getting the square foot peg into the base, I had to shave off quite a bit of plastic before it would fit into the base but then everything lit up nicely.

It's going back and there are no replacements, I think SS really need to think about things like this when making them, the cloak on mine was very tight to the shard and I couldn't risk trying to get the foot all the way down (maybe then then the sword would have lit up). Customers shouldn't have to shave bits off or squeeze things in.

Dunno about tight, parts of the cape "lay" on the shards/base. As in, the cape rest where it needs to be.

The sword is a little tricky. Need to push it in, just be careful the spikes all over time, they come off with ease. :(

I am about to get the statue soon, but seller inform me that there is a the light in the sword doesn't go on. Are there many others that have this issue? Or like Juts the pegs needs to be move around?

The light on my sword doesn't work. I even had it replaced once and the replacement also didn't work. I took the credit from SS and decided to keep it since it didn't bother me enough to warrant a return

Wow, that's a bummer. I think I might just put a sticker that has a bright blue reflective color onto the sword if I can't get the replacement. That way it looks semi like lights on all the time

The only parts that even light up are his tiny little eyes and the little eyes on the sword's "face". Now if the base lit up like some of the modified ones, that would be a bit more to lose out on.

Ask for a cheaper price for it not working?

In the end, I personally do not even keep the batteries in my statues.

Yup, seller providing discount, couldn't resist as I was a fan of Warcraft

Was thinking about getting this, checking it out on sideshows website I've noticed in every pic the cape part that was missing under his right shoulder pad is in every pic, did they finally fix it and add it to the new ones?

No.
There are "new" ones?

As far as I know, this is a factory mistake on ALL of them.

I was thinking about eventually just trying to patch/add to fix it.

I'm looking for this statue
Cant find any site with a reasonable price.
Can somebody provide help finding site/person selling it with reasonable price.

What is reasonable to you?
Local store has one. I can see what the price is and pass on their info to you.

Just checked ebay...WTH, this guy is selling for over 600?

That might be cutting it close, as I think he is around the upper 300s himself, let alone shipping.

But I will find out if they still have it, how much they are selling him for, and if they are willing to ship.

Mind me asking where about your are at? They might be much more likely to ship inside the US rather than outside.

If you do not feel like waiting, you can try their site and call them.

Really surprised at the price on him on ebay atm. You could find him new for around £275 for ages. Strange how that it suddenly happens.

My 2 cents - Sideshow cut the production on this one. He's been in stock forever, then he suddenly went sold out, even without low stock alerts.
Owned it at a time, nice statue, but could have been MUCH better. It's a shipping nightmare, incredibly fragile despise of its weight, and the package engineering is ridicolous. Just glad I got rid of it at retail (light up stopped working, YOU DON'T SAY) and never looked back.
