No. Could never happen with this guy. The knees barely, if at all, reach a 90 degree angle let alone an almost full 180. And that's to say nothing about where his feet would be due to the ankles having very limited range. I even pulled the foot off to see what could be done to increase the range and you would have to do some dremel modding of the ankle to get it to bend further than it does out the box.

...and then there's the non-functioning ab crunch (atleast on mine) that would not allow for the crouched look.

:monkey2 yeah...mine too. That's the only glaring fault with this figure. They could have completely eliminated that joint and the figure would still have the same range of motion without the ab crunch joint.

Agreed. The good news is mine is very stable in a standing position. The photos above were taken of the figure standing without any additional support.

Even though it's in-hand before Thanksgiving, I'm still putting the NECA Batman under the tree. As you can see from this photo, I did pretty well Christmas '66 regardless:

Captain Action FTW!

I have some very bad pics of my Neca Bats standing with the knees fully bent. Let me see if I can post em. He will stand but I don't trust the weight distribution personally. Would hate to see him do a swan dive and ruin that perfect paint job on his cowl.

Lee, that's Captain Action as Batman. Mego was still 8 years away when that photo was taken.

Post those photos when you can.

Man this looks like it turned out really nicely. Still not a fan of how they handled the torso but I think I may be able to look past it. Now lets roll out that 89!

Any suggestions on the best app to use to post directly from my phone? I use to use Flickr but I can't get the embed code for the pic unless I access it from my computer...which I am never on :gah:

Flickr is such a pain! Maybe I'm overlooking something but when I go to share the pic, it only offers me Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr as an option...or to email it. :monkey2

Just put 'em up using the forum "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS." Yeah, we'll have to click the image, but at least it will be there.

Open a Photobucket account > upload pic from computer > cut and paste 'IMG' code to forum post... Profit!
