Yup. Exactly why Dana won't work to bring her to the UFC.

Dana White and the UFC already offered Cyborg a contract. She turned down the offer.

They were willing to pay her UFC money under a UFC contract WHILE she fought in Invicta FC (since they have a FW division and the UFC currently doesn't).

Cyborg turned that offer down. And she decided to instead.. sign with Invicta FC.

Did I mention Tito Ortiz is/was her manager? :lol:lol:lol:rotfl

Yeah i think the weight issue was the biggest detractor. Personally I think Cyborg would find Rondas button. Rondas weakness is strikers. Even when she rough Meisha she flinches alot when she gets punched.

:lecture 10lbs kept them from fighting. :(

Lame, but true. Think Cyborg said she'd cut to 140 but Rousey didn't want any part of it. On the one hand I don't blame her for not going out of her way to make this fight happen because she has a good thing going, but some of it is probably doubt, too. Cyborg is strong, aggressive, and much more seasoned than Rousey.

Sounds like she doesn't want to adhere to the stronger drug testing rules.

Can't blame Rousey for wanting to stick to the weight she'd be comfortable at. It would be the equivalent of St Pierre going up to Middle weight, he'd start getting beaten at that weight.

The drug testing rules don't have anything to do with it. The athletic commissions do the testing, not the orgs. The UFC has done little independent testing itself.

Heres some funny news, but not really surprising. Nick Diaz was supposed to be on Michael the Voice interview show called The Voice vs. and well Michael flew to Stockton where Nick no showed. What a real **** move even more so than the no show press conference. The guy really needs to get his ***** together

Isn't he starting an MMA promotion? Wonder if he'll no show when it's time to pay everyone. :lol

They actually had the first event last month. Apparently it was actually a good card. Not sure how he carried himself being the promoter and all. Also not sure how the payouts went either. I think the organization is called WAR unless that was the name of the actual event.

I could easily see him just having the one event and then just abandoning the whole org.

a lot of good fights so far today. One thing that has to improve to evolve the women's fight game is JJ. It's horrid in most of these mma girls and that's why Rousey will continue to dominate.

Rory better hope GSP loses cause if GSP wins and they decide to fight, no way he beats GSP at his own game. Jake hesitated and it cost him. He should've did what he did at the end in the 1st. That's what happens when wrestlers focus too much on boxing, ala Josh Kosh.
