I like this statue very much, I just hate when Sideshow lied on social media, I think that's not a good business practice.

I wish they can just let this statue speak for itself and let people order when they want to. No need to rush people to order by saying these will be the last 20 we won't get anymore don't miss out when that is not the fact. This statue is the best Wolverine statue ever made, if they can be more consistent with the quality control, more people will buy, they don't need to lie.

I am happy if more people can get this at retail price, if Sideshow plan to make more I have to accept it because when I ordered this a year ago I ordered it knowing it's limited edition with no ES. I just bothered by their dishonesty by saying they won't make anymore to rush people to order when in fact they are making more now. IMO they don't need to lie, it just hurts their reputation.

But maybe they don't care about their reputation as long as they are profitable, they know people would still buy it regardless, all they care is money, money and money just like most people in this world :lol

Yes :exactly:... SS has no word on this because they got busted. :lol I mean it ok to make more. Just don't need to lie about it to get more sales or if they wanted to make more fine. Just say we wanted to make more for demand.

Im telling you, consumers are just never happy!

I get it, don't lie, don't cheat, don't make more, put a low ES, make sure the paint is done by Pro artists, make sure package is big but yet small, etc etc.

My gosh, am I the only one who feels bad for SS? :wave

Did you really just lump those two basic requests in with the others?

At the end of the day what we ask is that the quality matches the asking price. No, I don't feel bad for SS is they can't get that right.

Sorry my friend, honestly I don't feel sorry for them at all because of so many issues now. Bad cs, replacement parts are near impossible to obtain, fake sellouts, lies, (I mean its in writing for the wolverine LSF) how can they say they never said that?, price hikes base on how popular a character is, now even the smaller PF too. Shipping gets jacked up, so many more I don't want to type on forever. So how's 10% of my issues for starters? :lol seriously its not the same anymore. I used to think I was one of the very few who complains, but this last two days I've seen many more on the same boat now. Shame on SS for going in the wrong direction. :monkey1 I like SS otherwise I won't be buying from them. But they make it so hard to like them one thing after another. Come on SS please fire the current management and replace them. It would be time for a change. Please do something coming from a customer, not that you would really care. But please remember all the good things people said about SS back a couple of years ago. Please do something to bring some of that good days back to us. :pray:

I don't know who cheated anyone, it's a business and I'm sure they wanted the excitement to remain high. And no I don't think anyone is lying this is an open ES statue, after all said, it's not over till they say its over.
For the record, I don't support SS to lie or cheat.
Who knows how many they made, only they know

Folks...business have always manipulated consumers in order to increase demand for their product. You can classify it as lying or cheating...but the bottom line the manipulation of consumers in order to increase sales for a business is common every day occurrence.

And before we jump all over Sideshow for lying, cheating, and/or being unethical. How many of our fellow collectors jumped all over that Avenger Promo attempting to buy this piece knowing full well it was a promotion targeted at new customers? How many folks created bogus accounts in order to create the illusion they were qualified new customers? I bet most of those folks did not consider their actions as "cheating" Sideshow. They would have been very comfortable accepting a $500 discount they were not entitled to, and then blame Sideshow for allowing the transaction to go through in the first place.

Businesses manipulate customers, and customers try to manipulate businesses. I wish we lived in a world where businesses, business owners, and customers told the truth and did the right thing at all times. But we all know that is not the case. The best we can do is take the knowledge we have accumulated on Sideshow's business practices, and try to make informed purchasing decisions.

You do realize the managements are collectors too?
I know a few and they collect what they make too, not everything but some. I'm sure they are not too happy about a few things either, but please show me a better company with so many products and various lines that do a better job?
I don't think anyone else can match their production and services.
We can ask and they can listen but that's about all we can do. I don't like it I return it. You can too and remember nothing is free.

So I'm going to SDCC, and can't wait to see what surprises they have for us this year. So far I've been very impressed by this LSF, what's next?
