Oh man, if it is him I hope he comes with his giant ****-off mace from when he fought Eowyn.

Speaking of which they HAVE to do Eowyn in armor at one point.

It would be cool if Asmus had the license to the Hobbit trilogy as well. I'd definitely get a Freeman Bilbo, a Gandalf and a Thorin from that line.

Nice. Should hopefully translate into a couple of versions of the dark riders.

Cool news but I would have preferred to see a sculpt of an actor to test their skills out of the gate.

I would have too but I think from a business move this is a smart first choice if it's the witch king is in black robes b/c then a lot of fans would probably buy 9 to have all the Nazgul.

I definitely can't wait to see how they come out not only with sculpts but the detail in the costumes. LOTR character wardrobes have many little details that if achieved, would be great in 1/6 scale

Middle of March and no pic of what's coming out.. Might just start getting the sideshow line.. Can't wait forever

Sideshow have announced their Hobbit line too and we haven't seen anything of THAT yet either ;)

Sideshow aren't exactly fast either, especially with their LOTR lines ;)

I beleive they are australian / taipei ! from what I have been able to dig , though I am not sure

Huh, didn't think the Aussies were in the business as well.
Well, they're basically right next door so hopefully that means I can get my hands on these figures fairly quickly.

The odd thing is that folks that have bought some of their Bank Robber sets aren't getting packages from Australia but from Taiwan instead.

I think the "office" is in Australia , but the Factory is in Taipei
hope that helps

You know I was pretty surprised that they released some of the info they did to me just from e-mailing them. I wonder what may happen if more people would e-mail them and show their interest?:wink1:

Hopefully we don't have to wait for the actor's likeness approval. I've heard those wraiths are very particular about how they look. I remember hearing that the Witch King rejected Toy Biz's 6" action figure 5 times before he decided it was acceptable. Lurtz on the other hand was so happy to have a figure made of him he didn't care what it looked like.
