Yup, that's me, too: hopeless Coulson fangirl. Back in the middle of May, I posted on my blog (after pre-ordering Loki) "I'm still waiting for Hot Toys to come through with an Agent Coulson 1/6th-scale figure, for which I shall happily bankrupt myself should it appear." The squeeage at the announcement was deafening in my house.

Until Avengers 2 arrives, the inevitable rise of conspiracy theories regarding the fate of fan favorite Coulson will cause unnecessary division among us.

Doesn't it feel like we've seen this before? We've been Loki'd!

As cheesy/stupid as it seems, my favorite theory so far is for Vision to be based off him. At least that way, you could have Coulson without a resurrection and Vision with a little more intrigue (Ultron creates an android to fool the Avengers and infiltrate their ranks?). Eh.

Still, for what this first round of Avengers movies was, he left an indelible mark. Glad HT picked him up!

This characters shelf life isn't going to be that long. I don't think HT will wait too long or it will no doubt hurt sales.

What the hell does EFX and their trading cards have to do with Hot Toys and Coulson? I think sculpting a figure might take a tad more time than printing his replica cards.

Think more along the lines of Green Lantern waiting because...

This characters shelf life isn't going to be that long. I don't think HT will wait too long or it will no doubt hurt sales.

By the time they do get round to do it there'll be no one left who want to order anymore, this is a character that requires a figure right away as people will forget him not too long after. + as prices go up every few months he'll cost more than he would've done meaning there'll be very few willing to drop $200+ on a guy in a suit

Agreed. I think Coulson will sell no matter when he's released. He was in 4 movies, is a fan favorite, and I doubt he'll be over $200. He'll be in the same price range as Fury.

Also, at this point, I'd take a Hill too. And a Pepper Potts.
