Typically I like to reserve judgement until the film actually comes out, but this is pretty disappointing news. But honestly the most disappointing part was the actor's statements about Peter Weller's performance. If he truly was a fan, he would have known that of the main reasons the movie worked was because of Weller's performance.

Right now, the most exciting thing about the new movie is that it is getting us new figures from Hot Toys and Enterbay.

But whatever. I'm not going to judge this until I see it on screen. Could work. At least it's going to be different. Which I really don't think the new Total Recall will be.
