If they never remove the helmet, the story won't be worth telling. It needs to be about the human element of the character. I doubt this will ever come to fruition anyway.

Spoiler Spoiler:

Leave it alone. Just re-release this (Robo 1) in 4K HDR 10, VR and call it a day. The original "real" sequel wasn't even that bad to begin with, considering the abominations that came after it.

I still want HT to do Robocain though.

In the original movie, Murphy's face was just his skin from his dead body stretched over a robot face. So in theory it could be decaying.

Exactly. It's as if people are forgetting the actual story in question here where a man's face was put over the cyborg's head as a tribute to the officer who volunteered for the procedure.

Unlike Ford playing an aging Replicant in BR2049, Weller can play Murphy - who doesn't age.

Whoever's sayin' that RoboCop doesn't age is a moron.
Of course he does, because he's a freakin' cyborg.
The human brain he has uses oxygen and will die eventually.

How can he use oxygen when he dont even have lungs :lol

Well the remake had real lungs intact... so, sorry but i dont know what to say

I would rather see a sequel the the remake, that I liked.

The only character I wanna see in his old age is Arnold as King Conan.

No need. Redo the dodgy stop motion ed 209 and chimp arms puppet at the end, it's literally perfect.
