her face looks a lot more elongated.

add it to the rest (currently residing on the island of misfit toys).

I said that a couple days ago on SF, and I think you're totally right. I think the heads are completely different.

Very sickening situation for many, and this does give me pause when thinking of ordering SS items in the future.

Yeah, with another lazy eye. Getting a replacement isnt that hard part, Sideshow is 99.99% of the time willing to replace something for you, but getting turd soup to replace your turd salad isnt much of an improvement.

LMAO!.............I'm gone for a few hours and 25 pages have been added to this debacle.

I wish one of those 40 folks at the Freaks party would have stood up during the Q&A part and asked SSC management about ongoing quality control/paint application issues.

I guess that's asking too much since that event was a bootlicking, backslapping slurp fest.

What a failure.

I heard a rumour that the REG were produced in a totally different factory than the EX.

1. REG ES hasnt been announced
2. EX waitlists were closed, cancelled etc even those that were dated way back in FEBRUARY.
3. SSC denys any problem other than the 3-5 photos that clearly show subpar quality.

I think they realized that the production samples were ____ and that those that paid the NRD would be the guinea pigs, so long as everyone didnt make a stink about it maybe they could recover some of their production costs.

The REG hasnt even shipped out ... at this point id settle for an apology from SSC but I doubt that will happen because they will have to admit that what they did was unfair to those that signed up for the WL. Also would like a REG edition head that looks like what was displayed at Comic Con. I think the EX head was just a bonus and we'll never see a production piece that resembles ANYTHING like what was advertised. Thats just my guess.


Maybe theres hope that the factory that is making the REG editions did a good job. Kinda weird that a lot of pieces are pushed back 5-6 months....
I feel bad for the people that went on eBay and paid 500-600$ for this thinking that this artificial sell out was real.

FU Sideshow, seriously FU.
I just got home, Ive had 2 deliveries that I have been waiting to open all day, Rogue Exclusive and I got my Sucker Punch Amber from Gentle Giant. I open Rogue first, knowing what to expect...

So the 4th grader that painted my Reg Head knows how to make the eyes go the same direction, but the rest makes me want to punch a small toddler. The eyeliner looks like a gorrammed sharpie was used and the lipstick goes outside the lines. There are parts of the brown in her hair where it looks like they watered down the paint to save 3 cents, so it's light in some areas. The body is BEAUTIFUL in sculpt, but the "X" on her chest was painted by a different blind child, and the "X" logo on her belt was glued on by what looks like a Hot Glue Gun.

If I sit 7 feet away from it, it looks decent, but I didn't pay for decent, I paid for what I was sold on with the prototype photos. This was SUPPOSED to be the sleeper hit of the year, one of Sideshows finest.

So now I have to decide this weekend if I can live with the idea of trying a head exchange or just telling SS to stick this back up their @sses.

Of course I opened Amber right after, a statue that cost $100 less, and makes Rogue look like garbage. Literally EVERY SINGLE LINE ON AMBER'S FISHNETS ARE PAINTED PERFECTLY!!!!!.

If a factory can paint hairline fishnets with percision, why is another factory using watercolor paint and sharpies to paint Rogue.

Seriously, Sideshow should be ashamed, someone QC's these production runs and someone saw this and said "Bah, _____k these customers, they will be fine with it".

I would forgive the X on the chest, I would forgive the watered down paint on the hair if the face paint didn't suck so hard. They didnt even paint any secondary tones in her skin, just one solid color, thats whats making it look like a cartoon and a little more lifeless.

I don't HATE this piece, but it had so much damn potential to be a grail.

You really dropped the ball SS and you know it.

Shame on you.

If you don't send it back then you will be supporting that statement.

The problem is that not enough people send this stuff back and so the "Bah, _____k these customers, they will be fine with it" business model is working for them.

You gotta make a stand somewhere.

I have a pending sale of my Rogue with a board memeber, but the more I think about it, the less I want to sell it. I need to send it back to Sideshow, if for no other reason to show that I am not okay with this crap.

Im starting to retract my "I don't quite hate it" statement from my original post, the more and more I look at it I think I do.
The yellow paint used in the gloves is not the same yellow as on the bodysuit and the gloves are finished with a high gloss and dont quite match the bodysuit.

Dammmmn! Sorry to say this JYE but that has to be one of the ugliest ones I've seen. That should make you president of the "Turd Club" single handedly.

In all seriousness Sideshow screwed the pooch then gave it the shocker on this one.
Oh & Sideshow should have made this the headlining piece for Spooktacular.
