I don't know about the release plans, but if they are both finished and being shown, I'd wager they're going up for pre-order this month.

There is a headstone and an arm on the ground. I can't remember if it's coming out of the ground or severed though. Willow's base is very cool. Her exclusive accessory (not shown) is great too.

Uploaded to and downloaded from my Photobucket. Willow and Faith now sport Trevor Grove head sculpts. Faith in the shadows isn't to hide the likeness. Believe me, it's Eliza 100%. I think it's to emphasize Willow more since she has never been shown. Or maybe she's first up instead of Faith contrary to what we all thought.

That's what I was wondering because that was the case I thought, but there is a skull on a book hidden on the leg of Buffy's throne. I wonder if that's just an extra piece of goodness?

Awesome news! Now often we get a double whammy from a "dead" line. I was even considering selling Buffy the other day, not now.

I did have doubts about Willow. I thought "Sideshow are at it again! Sexing everything up". Thinking it over, I now don't think this is the case. Both look great so far. I hope we get some of the guys next.

Well, I'm committed now. Never thought I'd start up a new line. I already collect a little of just about everything, and now these.

Just ordered Buffy (and I just recently cancelled my Ms Marvel due to financial concerns ). However, with this I was able to use my reward points that I didn't have when I ordered Ms Marvel, so I got $75 off. It's weird though, I had to do the flex option as it wouldn't let me use my points for the normal order. Oh well, guess I've gotta contact C/S to get them to charge the rest sooner.

Any chance that they'll do the male characters to go along with this format/scale? I just want these three plus Angel and Spike.

I'm still riding the "Giles train." I think he would go perfect with the Slayer on the Throne. Nothing dynamic. Just him posing with a book in-hand, in typical Giles fashion. I'm telling you. It would be simple, yet epic. It has a lot of potential.

Since it's a sexed up line (as we can see from the aforementioned pic), and we all know why... sex sells. It has to be Cordy in school girl attire. First, she wore it, and secondly, it would be such a great seller.

Oh christ I hate these. All females characters (of course can't have anything that appeals to the female collectors cab we) but to me at least both Willow and Faith look more like 'ladies of the night' in this line then the the characters I saw on TV and thats putting It politely.

If we can take anything from these forums, is that collectors, more-so SideShow collectors are male. Majority not only rules here, but it's a vast majority. SideShow is only appeasing their consumer base. It's smart business.

It's a male production team producing stuff for a male audience. There lies the logic.

I agree with Sue. T&A is the last thing I think of when I think of Buffy.

They gave Willow boobs. Not just breasts. Boobs. Large ones. ????? And a peek-a-boo shirt? Aside from Halloween, in which the whole point was she would never wear that kind of outfit, when in seasons 2 or 3 did she ever wear a peek-a-boo?

Willow is still my absolute favorite character, and to see what they did to her... I am not very happy right now.

I am thinking they kept Faith in the shadows for a reason. Not a nice one. Sigh. At least the tarty look is in character.

I will go with what I know when it comes to the headsculpts. If Trevor did them, I will think the best until they come in hand. One smallish prototype pic is not enough to go by but from the pic it looks like they went heavy on Willow's mascara. It wouldn't be the first time a good sculpture was ruined by paint, and that can always be fixed.

Whoever did the bodies needs to go back and watch the show. Did the artist even watch the show? It makes me yearn for the early days, when SS was a smallish, up-and-coming company that made product that they were fans of.
