I saw arguments about Sabertooth in the Comedian thread, I know Schreiber's look may not have been most people's vision of the character, but his performance was great, I really like Schreiber's manerisms and dialogue delivery and his facial expressions, like that slight smirk of his, "You're not from around here are you?" "What gave me away?"

I agree 100%. Liev nailed a very stylish Sabertooth. 100x greater than Mane the Caveman :monkey4

I really like the casting in Origins, Schreiber was good, the guy playing Gambit was good, hopefully if the character ever reappears in an X film they bring him back. The only casting I didn't like in Origins was the new Stryker, I really enjoyed Brian Cox's portrayal in X2 and the new guy was just lacking something.

Well, I had literally zero intentions of getting this guy, but for some reason I looked him up online last night and got the idea in my head. Then today, I dropped by my comic shop on a whim and somehow they'd gotten one in between my visits. So, $170 later, here I am. He's friggin' awesome.

One thing I like, but find surprising, is Hot Toys Wolverine is identical in height to Medicom Wolverine. You can have them both and not go, oh look how puny Medicom is. Actually, the only things really hurting their blending are the toy-like Medicom portrait and the difference in size and material of the claws, Medicom's are a bit too long, espcially now having HT's to see an alternate lenght and really putting it into perspective.

Now that I've had a chance to have him for a bit, the only really problem i have with Wolverine is how rigid his coat is, the front back motion of his shoulders is really limited by it with the material being pretty stiff and also a very form fitting cut to the coat. It looks nice, but is a bit limiting, probably Hot Toys anticipated people being more likely to not use the coat, thus the new body and not worrying if the coat is posable or not, I do hope they make the T-800 more posable in his leather coat though.

I'm actually pretty fond of the coat being so rigid, mainly because it keeps its shape and looks good on him without drooping or looking odd in places. Granted, I'm not going to pose him often or much at all, so it's not an issue for me.

I'm also really surprised with the head sculpt...in pictures it didn't do much for me, but in person I think it's almost perfect. In some angles it's still a little off, but overall it's a hell of a lot better than I expected.

Welcome to the club bro. :banana

All the awesome pics must be killer for those without him. He is simple a magnificent piece.

Thing I find throwing off the portrait the most is actually paint more than sculpt. I find the eyes and all the hair spots to be a bit too light looking depending on the lighting conditions you have him in, sometimes the eyebrows hardly stand out and those a trademark, and sometimes the iris looks too light and almost zombie-esque. The sculpt has room for work, but I really think an alternate paint job could really pop more out of this. The skin tone and body paint are fantastic.

Just for display, the coat is fantastic as you say, I just found trying to get the claws in his face type of shot, I had a hard time getting his arm and hand high enough to see in the same frame as the face.

I dug casting for the film. I know it isn't a popular choice but I enjoyed the movie as well.

I kinda like the contrast of the white tank and the jacket, with the shirt on, it's a lot of dark, plus with the tank, you expose some of the neck and torso too so you get some body showing too.

I have mine displayed with jacket + Tank. Looks coolest imo.

Congrats on the score Crow, lets see some shots! :D I know its kinda pointless after what Maulfan has done but meh, why not.

It's a mix, he even had a 2nd coat on in X1 when it started.

To help your decisions, here are both looks together to compare them.

I think the tank also makes him look tougher.
