I hope the cutscenes aren't too cheesy. That's the impression I get from a lot of Japanese-developed games nowadays: their characters, dialogue, and almost everything story related are cornier than high fructose corn syrup.

sadly this game is being promoted by sega so like bayonetta, no matter how awesome, will not be a huge seller

Yeah it's a real shame to see this. But who knows, maybe word of mouth can carry it a long way, but I don't see it happening. I know I am getting it day one, but if I were to mention it to other gamers I know, they probably would have no clue what I'm talking about

I thought it was fairly good, I mean not goin in expecting alot. It felt very much like a resident evil over the shoulder, sort of gears meets uncharted. But I don't think I'd pay full price for it.

The demo was pretty fun. I ws kinda flummoxed by the controls. I didn't understand the point of the melee attack, every time I tried to use it, I died. haha

Either way, I don't play a lot of 3rd person shooters, so it was fun to blow stuff up.
