I thought DC would at least get one meaningful take down in this fight. I didn't expect Jones to play to DC's strength either. It actually made the fight pretty boring. I wanna see a rematch with Gus.

yeah...decent for a few rounds. Fatigue bug got DC.

At this point I don't think Bones would know how to do a 3 round fight, it's been so long. :lol

Anyone can be beat at any weight, its just a matter of time. Unless you retire in your prime, eventually every GOAT loses.

I actually think Jon looked more tired than DC. As for the take downs you could tell DC's height came into play. He couldn't get Jon off the mat because Jon's hips were to high. Also I thought DC was the aggressor he just coasted in round 4 which he said himself and that hurt him more than Jon actually did. I think DC can beat him, just wasn't his night, now it'll be up to Alexander or Rumble.

He is a cool guy. I think its because he's an outspoken person. Someone who's not afraid to voice his opinion and in the world of wrestling, its not something the powers that be like at all. Its also because he left wrestling without notice. Basically just walked away, also feeling frustrated with WWE and some people in the company. So some people feel he's a jerk for doing what he did.

I only started watching WWE again in 2011 after around 10yrs or so of not watching it. & the only reason I stuck around was because of CM Punk. He's a very charismatic guy who's as good on a microphone as he is in the ring which is, IMO, a very rare thing in wrestling. Since he walked out last year I've been struggling to keep interested in it all &, in fact, stopped again for around 7 months until very recently. John Cena is the devil (in wrestling terms), as far as I'm concerned. He's like the anti-Punk in that he's as truly dreadful in the ring as he is on a microphone & that whole organisation seems to revolve around him, much to it's detriment.

But I digress, I wish CM Punk well in the UFC & I hope he's got a good chin as I'm pretty sure that he'll need one, lol. If he can stick with it for at least a couple of years then I think that us UFC fans will be in for a real treat. It's certainly going to be very tough for him, though.

The hype for the Jones/Cormier match was so intense.
i watched the fight and thought Jones handled him pretty easily in rounds 1,4 and 5.
Cormier won the 2nd round and round 3 was close but I thought Jones did enough to take that round as well.
The after fight interview with Cormier was quite gentle,no bad feelings and he actually credited Jones on his ability, talent and wearing him down.
I'm sure if it had been a closer fight ,he would have had a different response and attitude in the interview.
Kudos to Jon Jones.
Like him or not,he is one of the most talented fighters in all of the UFC.

I'm surprised noone has posted that Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has tested positive for cocaine and has checked into a rehab center.
Very surprising.
Wishing him the very best.

apparently Cocaine isn't a banned drug. Not surprised by any athlete these days. Next thing that will come is some porn star trying to sell a sex tape. Most rich, idealized people end up doing crazy ****. We hear about it every day. I am surprised he hasn't gotten fired for it though, but we can all see why that is. He's still my fav fighter to watch outside of Rhonda or A. Silva.

the only thing that I don't like about him is he's so fake. There have been many ppl to say the same thing, but the only reason he checked into rehab is cause he got caught.

I do not believe he cares if people like him.
Those are the ones who think he is fake which is understood.
Those that like and respect him know he is real but misunderstood.
To each their own but bottom line is he has been one of the best Champions ever in the UFC.

Retarded the UFC isn't executing disciplinary action as they have a right to from the Code of Conduct they wrote for their company. Definitely not setting the best example, along with Jones. Hopefully after this, and in the after math of the DC fight, Jones will embrace who he actually is over who he tries to be to get sponsors/fans/respect/acceptance.
