I agree and apologize to Clone fans but ffs how many different Clone Troppers are there? Also how does all those Clone Uniforms then translate to maybe 3 different Stormtroopers in the Originals? Sideshow has produced a lot of Clone Troppers but skip crucial characters.

SS knows that Clones sell and once they make a base clone, it is very cost effective for them to release more clones and only change the paint scheme. All the other stuff is already done.

I'm unsure of how all the clones slimmed down to 3 basic troopers for the movies (although they did have sandtroopers) - maybe the Empire just wanted to streamline things a bit.

Slynger that makes sense, I didn't think about having the figure already produced and just having to change paint apps. I am guilty of owning a few I got of gohasting.com for extremely cheap.

The clone colours signify the brigade regiment etc. The empire then got rid of all the colours as with their ships, so it all went plain boring.

There are only specialised clones like arc troopers (no figures yet but rex is close) and ones like galactic marines.

However as you say, some of them are not in movies or clone wars (ganch, shadow clone, 442nd clone) so you have a point.

Hope that didn't come across as patronising.

There has been a lot of variation beyond paint in the clone figures. What's obnoxious is the inclusion of non-movie characters at the expense of characters with a real history. A new Stormtrooper or a Biker Scout should be obvious entries into the line (if armored troops are absolutely necessary), but what ought to happen is a different beast to sellers than it is to buyers.

It does explain why expectations for big marketing events like this are so low. Star Wars has so many great possibilities, but the people who care are not interested in the Hasbro cartoon/toy business model. Makes me wonder how much control of the line Sideshow actually has.

It appears to be a given that the life-size Yoda is coming. I'm in an odd place with that guy. I really like his pose except for the head placement, however, I'm hoping the head doesn't articulate as I don't think an expensive statue should have articulation, I feel like it kind of cheapens it. I'm so confused about this piece right now! :dunno

A 1/6 Jango Fett would be fantastic! But top of my list and hopefully one of the other two black squares is Count Dooku 1/6 figure.

Isn't there a Medicom Jango, it is just ****. I would like a Hot Toys Star Wars. What if they throw a Vader Hot Toys out there, oh snap

No, it's a nice figure actually. It just needs a better, bulkier body to represent Temuerra Morrison's build accurately, & the shoulder & torso armour needs to be repositioned on the suit so it doesn't have that slouchy look.

It'd make the last two SSC Vaders look even wonkier than they do now. :lol

Gee, you guys really put HT high on a pedestal don't you.

I agree, he looks very small next to Sideshow figures but I still think he's one of the best 1/6th figures out there. This pic originally sold me on him about 6 years ago and to get one just as good, in Sideshow's scale, would be awesome.

I would still prefer a PF of him first though:rock

Oh so Medicom are smaller? I have the Darth Maul and do remember him being smaller than the Sideshows

Looks like some promising teases.. although with my luck all the stuff I'm hoping will be 1/6 will be Lengendary scale or dios or something I'm not into :lol
