interesting tid bit. there was apparently a patch released for RE5 that contained some stuff intended to ship with the gold edition and it includes some new in game figurines which could in fact be some of the new characters in mercenaries reunion.

From what I remember, they were rebooting the franchise. Pretty much everybody is dead...Spencer, Ashford, Marcus, Wesker....nobody really left to advace the story anymore.

actually in reference to the reboot, it seems alot of misunderstanding is a foot. what they said was that the first act of the resident evil series is closed and that the next game would have to be newly developed in a way that mirrors the change from RE3 to RE4. basically changing the gameplay in a major way.

Bring back Resident Evil Outbreak!!!! I missed it on the PS2 and always thought it would be an awesome game. It'll probably never happen so I guess I'll just have to hope for a Dead Rising multiplayer game.
