I just noticed that these photos someone posted earlier actually show the design change made to the chest piece/shoulder pad (top photo is the prototype, bottom photo the latest version).

That said, I'm still not sure the arm is separate from the underlying suit material. I think they may have just extended the chest piece over the shoulder to hide the underlying material, which on the prototype looks to have a some cloth in that area (see below).

Thanks for the comparison. It looks like an improvement overall, but I agree the verdict is still out on the separate arms. I?m optimistic though since they did this on AM and these were developed around the same time. It?s possible it?s cloth underneath that has the other chest piece over the top.

These are great pictures and really show that Wasp will be one of the best figures this year. I have mine coming from Sideshow so it will be a long couple of months waiting.

That?s a great sculpt. Lily?s features scale down well; I only wish it was a brighter costume. Even so, it looks great.

I?m waiting for the Justin?s Collection video which is bound to drop sometime over the next week - watching his footage of figures (even without his own thoughts) is normally enough for me to gauge whether I will like a figure on my own shelf or not.

I usually pay less attention to what any reviewer says and more to what they show; after seeing many of Justin?s videos I finally looked at his channel.

In terms of volume and consistency alone, I think he does a really good job overall. Some of the videos are a bit blown out ? if he?s able to fix that his channel would be absolutely killer.

I?m kinda used to the intonation and it?s neither here nor there for me.

I’ve grown to appreciate Justin’s videos. Yeah, he LOVES everything, but I take that as he is just an enthusiastic kinda guy and he does a really good job showing off the figs.

Thanks for sharing these photos. There is obviously lens distortion going on, but even with it the headsculpt looks pretty darn good! The likeness looks much better than some of the few blogger photos I've seen!

I will def be picking this one up!

This figure is really growing on me but I have no Ant-Man so far and the latest one is just bad, that horrible sculpt, I just can not justify getting even if I threw away the head ...

Now I am not sure if it is worth picking up this Wasp without Ant-Man when Hot Toys will for sure release another Ant-Man and maybe Wasp from next movie that most likely match each other (new suits).

I have a couple Ant-man miniatures instead of the full size. I might grab the mini version of Wasp also and call it good. I like that you can put him anyplace.

I'm thinking about grabbing the mini flying set with the ant and putting it under Wasp because I can't justify the full figure with how much I hate the sculpt. All the Ant-Man miniatures I see are not from HT and are painted horribly.

The HT minis aren't painted that spectacularly either, the Disney store set I have is more detailed

Still the HT set looks ok from a far if you want to work around the awkward plastic stand they have glued on to hold Wasp
